I say gg wp after every game regardless of outcome. I’ve never received any notification that I’m being viewed as toxic or anything of the sort.
OP, everything is reportable, and you are banned according to the number of reports you receive. Since you seem rather immature, I expect that you will be banned at some point.
Honestly I feel like saying “gg” is worse than “gg ez”. Usually with gg ez, people just want one of those stupid automated responses that pop up, they are pretty funny. But ever since someone made a point about the use of “gg” I’ve noticed it’s used mainly after a team rolls another team, and everyone on the winning side say “gg” even if it was a steam roll. Which isn’t a good game at all.
My friend cuddly you seem to think I am immature and you may be correct but in the words of my buddy Will; the fool doth think he is wise but the wise man knows himself to be a fool.
If you’re going to go out of your way to insult someone and tell them their skill was so inferior that it resulted in an easy match for you
I’m going to go out of my way to report your for toxicity.
I agree fully with you zerocool the funniest thing is the quick GG after someone mops the floor with the other team. Not really much of a gg when g for game didn’t exist.
He doesn’t ask, he just straight out says “idiot”.
The difference is you’re implying and assuming there’s some degree condescension in it and they’re secretly say “GG… for us”
When they could simply be genuinely saying GG to a group of players who, despite being out matched genuinely tried and didnt rage quit or complain along the way- or any other number of genuine reasons.
When someone says “ez” though theres often no assuming what they’re being.
In my book, being a snowflake means taking offense when none was intended.
With “ez” the offense is very much intended so I’ll hit back in the most civil way: report the person.
Go out of my way jesus? I am mostly playful and have a fun conversation and when I say that I just say it as a joke. I don’t think I am SUPERIOR or some crap like that because I don’t know but believe it or not my butt was whooped a few too many times to think am the king of games.
It’s not really an imply at all, stay in game and don’t re-queue, see how often those same people won’t say GG when they lose, even if it was a close game. People that say “gg ez” are almost always trolls that just want to see someone react to it. People that say “gg” are 50/50, they either genuinely mean it, or they are the type of person who thinks any game where they stomp is a good game, and if the win is close, it means the win shouldn’t have been close and their team was trash.
I usually report anyone who says any variation.
Anything can get you banned if you get enough reports. Even if you just tspe GG after a match there will be salty people reporting you, I have even seen streamers report others just because they werebsalty for beong killed by that player.
Just don’t type in the chat unless you talk about strategy without a mic, most other things will get you banned.
You have banter between friends. Strangers on the internet are not your friends.
That aside, no, I do not think it is against code of conduct, but if you say it and get reported you’ll get banned and Blizz won’t unban you until the suspension meets its pre-determined end.
People really need to skip the “banter” of post-round and post-game chat. Most of the time players have little to no control of their team mates, and how the matches are built.
