She’s balanced, but boring for lots of the Mercy fanbase. I get that the dev team is probably burnt out on iterating on Mercy, and that other heroes need attention more. I could accept Mercy being in a temporary placeholder state; even if it’s going to be for a significant amount of time while other, more time-critical issues are addressed.
But devs, please tell us: Is Mercy’s state a placeholder or permanent?

How many different ways are you Mercy mains going to keep asking the same question?

She’s staying like this for a while, yes.
For me her ult is a deal breaker - I can have fun with her regular kit, I might even be able to get her stupidly broken rez to work, but her having such an uninspiring ult I can just not live with. The impact is spread so thin over such a long time, it does everything for you, it can only be used when no other ult is in play leaving you feeling helpless so many times… All I want is for the branching beams to be removed and give her a single target beam that actually does some serious healing, so I can be engaged in the fight again and feel that where I put my beam makes a difference.
The developers are probably going to reiterate mercy later. There are other heroes that actually needs buffing or reworking like Törbjorn.

Honestly, was Mercy ever not boring?
Even when she was extremely OP and I was being forced (so to speak) to play her in comp… I was bored… Really bored… to the point where I questioned why I even play Overwatch.

Nothing’s “permanent” in the game. They’ll tweak her if they see that she’s getting overshadowed by the other healers or underpowered overall.

Waiting for Torb to be viable would be a good cause to wait. So long as Mercy is eventually returned to.
i think shes finally balanced.
mercy’s natural state is well, boring. shes not a difficult hero to play as or against. you fly around and hold left and sometimes right mouse.
thats the whole character.
I don’t think it’s unreasonable to ask the developers if a recently reworked and nerfed hero is still on their radar, if they’re happy with where they’re at, and if they have any plans to change her for the future.
