I dont really know where to start, but I will try explaining the whole thing as best as I can:
Story
I came back to the game around 3 months ago and placed Mid plat (2700 SR) on DPS while my Tank and Support where around 2500 SR. I used to main Soldier before stopping playing but found him hard to get value off in the Double Shield meta, luckily I found Ashe very fun to play and learned her in and out.
After some time of going back and fourth at around 2750 I decided to record a VOD of a loss and get it Reviewed (This post here) around 3 months ago. I was told I had very bad positioning mistakes which I then spent a lot of time improving on.
I was able to push through plat and into Diamond at around (3100 SR) before getting stuck again. Recorded another VOD and sent that in (This post here). I was told that I am some bad habits such as like moving erratically while shooting and panicking easily, making me miss the easiest of shots. I spent time trying to think more while playing (not going auto pilot) and trying to stay as calm as I can.
THEN
I was having inconsistencies with my Aim needing to warm up before playing (I only Wrist aim with a sensitivitiy of 17,3cm/360. 800 DPI and 10 OW sens). So I started regularly warming up in Kovaaks Aim Trainer before playing Overwatch. When I was placed this season at around 3050, I started playing all 3 roles almost the same amount of time. My Tank role is now at 3135, Support 2759 and DPS at 3468!
I am still VERY confused to how this has happened. I checked my Ashe stats and it has a 86% WINRATE. I sadly do not have a recent VOD (I will record one as soon as I can). But do you guys have any idea to why this sudden climb has happened?
If you got a 86percent winrate then thats good id continue what you doing because it obviously is working and proof that your team isnt the reason someone cant climbed you probably have the potential to hit master GM. Theres people who are machanically gifted at the game and not many people are then theres people like me who isnt machanically gifted but rely purely on desision making to climbed you probably machanically gifted ill watch the vods
First step is realizing that focusing on yourself and yourself alone is a good way to climb. Unfortunately, people just genuinely think they are just “unlucky with teammates” while not even looking at their own VODs. You did that, and therefore you deserved to climb.
Objective is now to climb higher, or at the very least maintain high diamond :>
Ashe is a great hero when it comes to drainig a healer’s resources. Since Moira is played A WHOLE LOT lately and that diamond support players will usually prefer non aim-intensive heroes like Moira, this is an opportunity for Ashe players. Also, TNT feels bad to get regularly hit with, so it has a tilt element to it too :>
I completely agree with you that the team is not the reason people can’t climb. If a person focuses on his own mistakes instead and improves on them, then it will help greatly.
I really appreciate having people like you on my team. My biggest weakness is decision making and having someone on the team that can see the bigger picture and guide the others help a TON! <3

Not my intentions =[ I was honestly confused to how I climbed and wanted to ask for explanation. Also the post shows how anybody can actually climb if they put the time in
She actually might be a larger beneficiary to the lower shields since she had essentially the lowest shield break of any of the dps. Actually for a short while she can do good shield break only then once the shield is broken, she would spend the next 7 seconds reloading and accomplishing nothing so she could try to do some more shield break once the shields were back up.
Well her reload rate made shooting shields pointless essentially. Needed to use her shots for getting angles or shooting around them or having teammates that were breaking them.
Gamesense is very difficult to teach to be honest but yea i main sombra i have to have good gamesence. But generally heros and players at a given rank sorta follow a trend in how they play. Gamesense it sorta paying attention to patterns and pradicting how the match will turn out and knowing what the enemy will do before they going to do it im getting so good at it that it literally helping me dominate games. Ill give a example of a stratagy i used last night.
So as we had hold of the 2nd point of havana the enemy had to invest 3 ultimates to acatully take the point of us. So i knew the enemy sigma still had his ultimate and i had emp. So i saved emp and waiting till the sigma invested his ultimate so yea he will win that fight it was expected but i positioned myself out of the radius so i can stall point and retake with emp and orisa ultimate so they lost 4 ultimates and we won because of that. I could of hacked him out of it but my timing would of have to be on point so i decided to play it safe plus i couldnt get in a position to do that losing a fight doesnt matter but taken point and stopping them getting it to the last point does. This is how i think as i play and it actaully helps me make a decision into use to hack and put pressure on the ultimate economy is so important to rank up. Also the reason i didnt want to emp first because yes we would win the fight but then they can retake with sigma ultimate. So that’s why i made the decisions i did.

But troll threads like this aren’t meant to add anything productive to the board or community. By naming the Hero he played, he’s trying to slyly assert that Hero is broken which she ain’t. Or he’s not doing that, and therefore is just trolling to brag. Either way, it’s a trash post and is filling up space that could be used for something important, like whines about how tanks or dps or supps are throwing games cuz they are bad (depends on what role you play, as to who you are blaming). I swear to god my post is not bragging, I am honestly asking how/why this has happened. I was not expecting to get THAT much SR from a little improvement.
I named her specifically because my other roles tanks and support only have 60% winrate compared to DPS

Yes my friend it is peculiar indeed that you have climbed so much, and it is especially curious because there is so much cheating. You are so good that you are even beating cheaters: Everyone is cheating in Competitive Play!
