Hello Abdullah,
First of all congratulations.
You will get 100 different answers here but the fact is you have become a better player than before. At the rate you are going, you are doing things right with the right mindset and must have build gamesense too. You may win a game with good mechanics in 1 game but you may need to use Bob at right time to win some fights in other games too.
One personal experience i want to share is: The same thing happened to me in league of legends. I played that game on and off and stuck in silver thought i would never climb out. I kept watching pro plays and got myself reviewed from challenger player couple of times. Even though i played like 1 game per week for last year now i got to plat and even though my mechanical skill is not good enough i am able to see mistakes from enemies and the mistakes i do while i was dead and what my coach had taught me.
The way he coached me was not only my thought process and what i did right or wrong but what a challenger player thinks in that situation and out of given variables what is the best optimal decision i can make to end the game as quickly as i can or provide lead to our team. I did a VOD review where i was like 19/3 and he smashed me for my poor decision making and showed me how things would have been different if the enemy jg was smarter and how silly mistakes i was making when i could have been doing 5 different better decisions with the lead i had.
Therefore, congratulations and keep climbing. The climb to GM this season is the toughest among all the seasons yet because mid masters is full of GM smurfs and alt accounts but good luck.

Absolutely, who needs a team in single-player overwatch, virtually nobody. Right on the money here and well thought. You are a clever one
Thanks a bunch for the amazing words! Its very motivating reading stories from other players who have been in the same place, stuck and were able to climb out again <3
I dunnoā¦I guess itās the same as playing roadhog or WBā¦regardless of what the enemy is runningā¦so you and I quote " can learn him inside and out" at the expense of your teamā¦I suppose if itās okay for a dpsā¦then itās okay for a tank or support right?
I feel inspired to 1 trick a wb ā¦even if my team asks for shieldā¦needs a shieldā¦needs a synergy tankā¦wants a syergy tankā¦regardless of whether itās a good day or a bad dayā¦if the enemy team has me hard counteredā¦or Iām running all over themā¦whether Iām on a loosing streak of winning streakā¦because Iām " learning him inside and out"
Itās okay rightā¦Iām not going to get reported?
Lol, this topic is so good example what people who are stuck should do instead of blaming system or othersā¦

The problem with most players is that they are completely brain dead. Just a tiny bit of brains will usually help players more than anything else.
It seems like you ignored a lot of the tips I gave you when you were at 2700. They were good tips
.
Remember how I told you that you shouldnāt just wildly throw bob into the fight when enemy team has an Ana cuz at higher elos, they will sleep Bob every time? Well now you are at higher elo and based on this game, you are getting poor Bob slept every time, like I predicted.
Your bob usage is frankly terrible, itās almost like you are playing a character without an ult, based on how often you completely waste it.
I watched your 3100 vod and you did a pretty bad job against the genji. I gave you tips on how to play against Genji in your last vod. To be honest, itās pretty hard to believe you climbed to almost master with an 86% win rate based on your play in that vod. You actually got carried pretty hard by the junkrat. Do you group with him a lot? If so, that would explain it. He seems to be a smurf, no way heās a true gold level junkrat based on that game
Itās very likely you were abducted by aliens and implanted with a chip to heighten your aiming ability, and this is likely being controlled by jeff Kaplan himself, so no this is not healthy. You should contact the FBI, thereās no other explanation and we all fear for your health.

Hello MercyMain, I have actually used your advice and learned it xD I am at 3460 now, I will need to record a VOD soon so you can see it. That 3100 VOD game was actually over a month ago xD
What really made me climb was going back to my past to VODS and rewatching them as well as reading all the reviews on the helped a ton! Though aim training and warming up before playing had a big impact too.
Edit: About that Junkrat: He is my brother in plat now. I am only solo queuing at the moment, because whenever I play woth my brother or anyone else with a significant SR difference of around 300+ we get very hard matches with bad teammates.
Jeffs plat, so this canāt be true. Jeff probably mains Moira as wellā¦

Because, given what youāve wrote, you are a better gamer than an average gamer.
You play all 3 roles, which means you have a deeper feel and understanding for the game than the average dps main.
And you review yourself and look out for your mistakes - Thatās literally the golden rule of climbing.
Edit: Oh and you practice outside of comp and qp⦠You might aswell climb to top 500 with that mentality and playstyleā¦

I got so tired of repeating that line over and over againā¦
You (royal you) are the only common element in every single match you play. You canāt force anyone in your team to swap to any hero you want them to play, or for them to play in any manner you prefer them to play. The only variable you can control is yourself. If you focus on what you can do to change the tide of the battle instead of searching for who to blame for the lost fight, you improve.
Itās simple as that. No matter what you are playing, or which rank you are playing. Good and bad teammates happens in both sides and even out over time. What you can do is just nudge the balance towards your team and it will pay off over time.
Quick sudden improvements like the one OP is relating are rare. Most of the time itās a marathon, not a race. I remember getting a 600 SR spike when I quit voice chat back in season 6, because I used to main Symmetra, and simply playing without teammates screaming at me as the match started allowed me to focus more on the game. I only dropped from high platinum when Symmetra got deleted and replaced by her chaotic twin sister.
