Donā€™t think you know how these things work, and quit with the hyperbole

I liked it, but after having played the beta, no longer like it. Could also be the current balance state of OW1 along with it.

He can move while healing and he can turn his ult on and off. No other significant changes. Also those changes encourage better teamwork.

Not really? no. There is a reason he is picked when a tank gives up on teamwork, and is often seen as the ā€œsolo carryā€ hero on ladder.

Now, as an off peeler, he rocks.

So anyways, youā€™re a doomer as always. Roadhog is most definitely capable of the same teamwork as every other tank can provide, just because you donā€™t see it(and donā€™t do it) doesnā€™t mean itā€™s not true.

He works. As a solo tank, he does not function in any capacity. He has a peelerā€™s kit while expecting to be in front of everybody. It makes no senseā€¦

Unless of course you intend to not be in the front doing tank duties and go off flanking.

Back on course, though.

Yes, because you have to plan how you will kill the enemy guys faster. Sounds simple, but a lot goes into it. OWL coaches would be out of a job otherwise.

Thatā€™s not true, and thatā€™s a pretty hilarious over simplification of what I mean. Left 4 Dead has a few weapons that appear in Counter Strike, but L4D is nothing like counter strike.

The inverse is true, too. If I made an Overwatch game where you play as generic soldiers and shoot people until the game says one side won, thatā€™s more COD than Overwatch. Which, by the way, Iā€™d like that game. But I donā€™t want it to replace overwatch.

My point? With TTK being lower, defense being devauled, and faster paced gameplay being emphasised, its objectively being closer to games like Call of Duty. Iā€™m not really sure how you can argue against that.

Iā€™m going to be honest: you need gamesense in both Halo and COD, and I love both of those games. I wonā€™t pretend I was making deep tactical choices with my team when I played them though.

Well, except for in Big Team Battle and Firefights.

Explain. I told you why his kit is not suited for it. Please explain how you solo tank as hog. From a kit design perspective.
