No reason for players with over 500hrs in this game to be saying things like “I’m a casual! I need easy mechanics! and I belong in gm even tho I can’t aim!”
Aiming really isn’t that hard… Just get an aim trainer… There are plenty of hero’s in ow with gun spread which makes it even easier.

No thanks.
And like jeff said, its not just game about guns.
Devs dont want to turn it in to just shooting game also. So maybe time to accept its more than that.

I don’t like a constant focus on aiming because it removes a lot of unique and interesting things from the game and overly favors mobility/evasion.
This is despite being a decent shot.

just get it built into muscle memory and you don’t have to focus on it

Honestly Aim Trainers aren’t that good, for what you do in game you need more realistic practice.
Target Flick and Headshot the Bot are fantastic, just do ten runs to see where you are on average. Then make it a habit to practice for 30 mins a day till you see improvement.
As for sens, mouse, etc, I could write a freaking book on this stuff.

Didn’t he say it was a first person shooter?

If ioStux says no to aim trainers, you dont use aim trainers. There are pointless anyway. Its more about positioning, awareness etc

There are shooter games that have weapons that are not just guns. Like tf2, game this one is base on.
Getting inspiration from something ins’t the same as basing it off something.
Guns are important in a shooter game.

And they are part of many heroes in this game
It does not mean you cant have heroes base on other stuff.
And they litteraly had worse enginier as a torb, and during test zarya was litteraly heavy from tf2, they based their idea on tf2, and started to work off that.
If you think guns are so important go to Valorant, we don’t want FPS supremacists here.

Being bad at aiming is barely a hindrance for a lot of meta OW heroes.
If you think aim is all there is to it, go play a duck hunt game.

“Just get an aim trainer 4head. It’s not like it still takes hundres of hours to get good with those things 4head. Sorry that you dont have as much time as me to be playing the game 12 hours a day to get godly aim skills 4head”

My dude, I’m just saying guns are important.
Do you know what inspiration is?
“Hey, I like that character. It inspired me to make my own!”
Lol what, where are you getting that?
All I said was guns are important.
How does that make me a FPS supremacist?
Except for the part where most heroes go 5.5 meters per second and can turn on a dime.
Lol. McCree can do full damage with his crosshair anywhere on the target, Tracer needs to be within a certain range and she’ll still miss a lot if she’s aiming off-center. Spread doesn’t make it easier, it just lets you tickle the enemy if you miss.

is this about the moira comment by jeff?
funnily enough, it was samito who asked apparently, why am i not suprised
I know what inspiration is, but tf2 was the most inspiring thing they used at the development, and its easy to see that.
Most heroes are inspired by something, i would be suprised actualy if you would find someone original fully in this game, if not story, hero, that it would be gameplay.
But still this game early days was them plaing around tf2 it seems, they had a lot of stuff from there compared to other games, just on smaller scale, with more abilities
Its not as close as valorant to csgo, but still close games. Not just on character lvl, but the game itself.
Already playing valorant haven’t logged into ow since I got a beta key.
I still believe ow watch can be good again… Just not interested in the game rn.
I believe there’s a community split in this game that tore it apart. Jeff said in his last post he wanted to inject more skill in the game…
All I’m saying is getting okay aim really isn’t that hard it maybe takes a month on an aim trainer… Combine it with your game sense and your good.
