I was playing a game of comp a few days ago and I picked mercy since that’s who I mainly play and a teammate wrote in chat,
“dw I won’t take your mercy”

No other hero in the game gets flamed for being a one-trick except Mercy players, even if it’s 1 hr more than the next one.
In ranked our Lucio saw this on me and insisted I switch off because tank was getting blown up. Meanwhile entire team was ranged (Doom, Ashe, Hanzo) so Lucio was healing almost nobody at all and was dpsing.
Mercy is always the scapegoat for bad players to blame. Funny part is the team bought it and yelled at me.

A 0 damage contribution Mercy telling Sombra we need more DPS.
I’ve had plenty of matches with 0 damage into some notable duration of the match. If one dps is really bad and we are under heavy fire, pulling out the pistol might make it even worse.

Honestly Mercy one tricks are the only ones I like. If I see someone with the name Sym1Trick or something like that, I WILL take your hero if I can.

Never gets old; been hearing it since 2016. 
Shame almost no one ever bothers to check anymore since almost all profiles are closed.

I was a 3000 hour dva onetrick when they purged our profiles. I’ve been playing 66% junkerqueen and 33% dva since then. Wish I still had my dva hours. But anyways, even if I’m actively switching between them as enemy goes sym or bastion based on if I’m dva or junkerqueen, there’s always whining about “we need a tank switch can you play sigma or ram?”. And when I say no, instant gg. My favourite is I ALWAYS have the most kills, and when they are whining it’s NEVER by a little bit.

how much were you left with because I had 130 hours on mercy then down to 80 and a few hours on everyone else went down.

I almost exclusively play Sym on DPS and I hear a lot of absurd things. I think the 2 funniest ones are;
- “Your teleporters suck man”, after our tank repeatedly used the teleporters I use for off-angles, getting himself and the rest of the team killed. He would actively turn around and enter them whenever he saw the game’s message for it.
- “Can you stop trolling with your wall”. It turns out that one of our supports was accusing me of trolling for creating walls with their planes going down whole sightlines rather than just blocking off a small portion of the payload’s path. They didn’t seem to understand what shield dancing was or how to play with a shield that they couldn’t just sit behind.

People complain about things that they don’t understand. Like most people say mercy is easy and things like that but never try to get a high rank with her and see how hard it could be.

“You’re so busy with killing their squishies that their tank killed us”. Ok, but I’m on junekrqueen and I LITERALLY KILLED 7 PLAYERS IN THE FIRST TEAM FIGHT WITH ZERO DEATHS, so how are you losing to two people while I kill 3 of them and two again when they respawn?
Two duos, dps and heals, so I got zero heals while they failed to win any fights with the huge carry I was pulling

sounds like a normal plat/gold complaint. I swear most people there can’t do anything without a big f shield in their faces.No wonder rein is so popular.
