If I change my username on PSN will I lose all my skins and whatnot? Isn’t it connected to blizzard?

Maybe someone could help me understand this, since we can change gamer tags on PS4 now.

There’s a very small chance this will happen, as it happened to me and a number of other users. However, they may have fixed the issue altogether. If it does happen, they’ll be pretty quick to fix it I think. My account was fixed within a day, most accounts within a few hours.

It is not suppose to but a small portion of our community did have problems. If this happens to you please reply to this specific thread in the Bug Report forum:

It should be noted, a permanent fix is in place for the upcoming 1.35 patch releasing next Tuesday.

If you linked your PSN to your BattleNet you should be fine.

If you change your PSN username and lose all your Overwatch content, then that means you could lose all your save data (and maybe DLC) for all your games just from changing your name. All that stuff should be tied to your account, including your name, not the other way around.
