For as much as the generic text implies he won’t… I’ve known a lot of games and companies that bend the rules and make exceptions. If you think that it is actually a 100% no-debate chance he will be perma-banned you’re just digging your foot in the ground for the sake of it. He probably, actually, has a chance, if he continues to chase it and submit tickets/evidence and manages to get a support member who will hear him out, which there likely is one who will.

That’s not how it works actually. The terms of the contract you sign before playing the game is that your account and your access to it is Blizzard’s property.
Even if they banned you for 0 reason, let’s say just because you upset a dev IRL so he took a personnal action to ban you, he would have problems with the company but bring this situation or any other one to a court and the case would be instantly resolved: The account is not yours, you knew it, and therefore you have no right to complain.

I mean I am really really low gold on tank/dps and high plat/almost diamond in support. Depends what you’re playing tbh, and if you’re a 1 - 2 trick pony.

100% agreed. Even if you didn’t use a program, you obviously threw/throw to get down/stay in bronze. That account deserves a ban. People who do that ruin the games for everyone else. Good riddance. Play where you belong.

The appeals process is often automated and it is very difficult for them to do anything even when you have proof of no wrong doing. One of the few times they don’t ban based only on automated report thresholds is for cheating so they must have “some” evidence against him. It might not be good evidence, but I’d say the chance of getting in touch with a real person and having it over turned is even less likely than ever.
I still wouldn’t speak in absolutes as nothing is ever 100%.

They never give exact reasons … that’s what we signed tos for. And that sentence “penalty will not be removed” is part of every ban email(why everyone says good luck getting unbanned if you were falsely banned). Even CS will respond that they are not comfortable with giving exact reasons for your ban…
Which is kinda stupid, you can’t fix your behavior, if you don’t know what exactly you did wrong. I mean, it makes sense for cheating - they don’t want cheaters to figure out what’s detected, what’s not.
That’s all I was really saying. I’ve seen some ‘hard stances’ danced away before.
