To preamble: the point of this post is not to appeal. I’ve already submitted my ticket.
I only want to make people aware. Yes there are hackers out there and they are a very big problem. And a part of me is also flattered that someone might confuse my actual aim for hacking. But the problem is, calling out hackers when they are not hacking. Yes sometimes it sucks that you got beat. Whether it’s by a smurf or someone who’s just very good for their elo, it’s easier to just say that person is hacking out of spite than to recognize their skill. But it sucks that there are people being banned falsely when there are real hackers out there. The Blizzard ban system is fallible. Whether it happened via autoban or my gameplay was actually reviewed, there are ways around it, clearly.
I may never be able to play on this account again. Really sucks. https://i.imgur.com/EQMAg0k.png
PS: Can a lvl 3 link the image?

They actually detected that you use a cheat program, maybe you used Hyperflick? a lot of Hyperflick users got banned, also those using Macro’s even Mouse macro’s got banned, you maybe have used macro’s ?
Something on your computer ( or a computer that your account was logged into ) was detected as having an impact on your game and caused the permanent shut down of your account.
Whether you want to debate that or not is up to you. I have no sympathy for people that break the rules in games.
If you’re completely adament that you’ve done nothing wrong then your account has been compromised. Which still means the blame falls on you for not properly securing your account.
Interesting how you have the highest crit accuracy and scoped accuracy that I’ve ever seen on Widowmaker (31% and 50%, wtf), yet only have a 27% winrate in Bronze. HMmm.
IMHO if you are falsely banned, you should go legal on Blizzard. They gave no valid reason, have no evidence, and thus pretty much stole your money on a falsehood.
You won’t get banned because one person reported you for cheating. You need to rack up quite a number of reports, likely by different people, before action is taken. If you were banned because of reports, it either implies that you were behaving really fishy or smurfing on a rather consistent basis to warrant enough reports.
It appears that they detected illegal software. Do you have other programs running in the background when playing OW? Some are recognized as cheating software, usually because they interact with the game somehow, even if they don’t give you an in-game advantage.
