I want a separate SR for Mercy and Lucio

Even if it’s only for informational purposes and not used in the game whatsoever.

I don’t want to buy a separate account just to get a “Widowmaker SR.”

Thank you.

scenario: I have 3 accounts when 222rolelock comes out

one account I only play Mercy and have a 1900sr, another account I only play Lucio and have 1700sr

on the third account I play a mix of both Lucio and Mercy and have an SR of 1800.

I want to know that I play Mercy at a 1900sr level without buying 3 accounts

Learning when a hero within a role is the “right” pick falls under game sense. When you get better at picking the right hero for the job (e.g. what your team needs, situationally) you’ll climb more consistently.

Unsolicited hint: It’s almost never Bastion

Well playing mercy and Lucio in the right situation will have it’s benefits…

But… Tbh running Lucio with mercy is rarely good…

this post isn’t about when to pick them, that decision was already made before the discussion started

Okay? Just work on your game sense, dude. Pick Lucio when it makes sense and pick Mercy when it makes sense, and your SR will skyrocket assuming you have the mechanical skill to play them effectively. Should be easy for Bastion main, Lucio aim is forgiving and Mercy doesn’t have to aim at all (unless you go Battle Mercy ).

Why the sudden interest in healers, out of curiosity? Is this related to that post you made about playing pocket Mercy for some Platinum boosters?

Unsolicited commentary: And Battle Mercy would still be more effective than Bastion most of the time

That’s not what this post is about.

Is it related to that post you made about playing pocket Mercy for some Platinum boosters? Just improve yourself, you’ll just fall as soon as you stop getting boosted.

please go make a comment over there if you want to talk about that topic

this is the wrong thread for that topic of dicussion

The Bastion main is trying to figure out which healer he should play when pocketing the boosters he’s trying to find on the forums.

I think across the entire player base Mei and Widow SR’s would vary wildly for each individual player.

It would be nice to have a “Hero SR.”

Speaking of SR, shouldn’t you update the title of that boosting post you made?

nah, because it has a date on the post

Sooo…, encourage more one-tricks?

Because you would have to character lock not just role lock for this to work. Otherwise there are to many factors to determine what hero (you played) should go up which should go down.

Example, if you switch from mercy to lucio b/c the situation called for it does that mean you should lose mercy sr and gain lucio sr. Did you change b/c of the enemy switching or b/c of you under performing?

It would be nice to know because apparently my McCree sucks and my Ashe is utterly broken. That averages me out to high plat. I wonder what their exact numbers are, though.

But, you couldn’t get exact numbers unless you couldn’t switch anymore. Which would SUCK for Overwatch.

There isn’t any system that could determined that in this match you played at a 2823sr McCree and switch then played at a 2967sr ashe. The best you can do is use overbuff (I believe) to see how you compare to other McCree’s and Ashes at your rank, then use that info to improve.

It does not help me improve, though. My McCree stats are average for some reason, and Ashe is like top ten to one percent stats. Idk why.

sorry my idea doesn’t conform to your agenda

read this to understand more how individual hero SR works in practice Individual Hero SR

especially this part: The most common concern I’ve heard about this is wrong and that’s, “Well, I could just pick a Bastion as my ‘throw hero’ and when I know we’re going to loose, I’ll just swap off to him.” But this won’t work and I’ll show you why.

Say the average SR reward for a game is 30. Let’s say you played all 30 heroes in a game. Would this mean each hero only gained 1 SR? No they would each gain the full SR of 30.

The only way hero based SR would work is if you couldn’t switch hero mid match, otherwise it would be way too easy to game the system.
