Depends how bad the grind is. Like if the new hero is unlocked at the end of the battle pass… then that may as well be a paywall.

From what it seems, there should be ways to unlock it for free if you grind (which i suppose that id what the creds are for), and usually how games like for honor does it.
If they do it like actual dlc, pay walled then that will really blow.

Yeah Jon Spector clarified that the new heroes will be in the free battle pass. My point is that it may as well be a paywall if unlocking them through said free path is too hard for most players. Really depends though.
