Every time I’m hooked, I still get killed instantly… It’s annoying. It’s Hog 1.0 with much more tank to him.

I would argue that the spread is so wide that even if the crosshair is on the centre of the body at close range, some will still crit, and vice versa. Makes them very pubstompy. Reduce the spread whilst still keeping it clearly the widest, and you solve that problem.

He’s still a hero who has more hard counters than anyone else. People are trying him out right now, but they will go away soon.

If you reduced his spread here will be overpowered because he will have more pinpoint accuracy thus making the right click useless

It was a pain in the *ss to hook someone from long distance just to see how the chain broke becouse the enemy was jumping to the corner.

Finally, a hooked target is a hooked one :slight_smile:

Neither of them would have pinpoint accuracy though, they’d still be clearly the widest spread. Think about D.Va’s primary for the moment. Or Torb’s alt fire. Both are most effective at close range, hell, Torb’s alt fire is just Reaper’s primary but better against Armor and slower firing.

Would you say that D.Va’s primary or Torb’s alt fire could be called “pinpoint accurate”? I wouldn’t, and the spread that I’m proposing for Hog and Reaper is double that.

In practice the spread isn’t even a problem on Roadhog. In fact his left click is supposed to be for close range and his right click is for mid range. And the spread is way better than it was before and if Roadhog needs a buff still then buff his tankiness not his damage output or spread

Reminds me of a trick I sometimes do as D.va. Get ult, then wait for the enemy Hog to hook you into his team. Press Q. Works every time, and hilariously funny.

funny enough i have hooked reapers(it made the noise) and they wraith out of it, not sure how that happens, thought i would bring back this topic because its amusing
