I like the Sombra changes

Really?, Have the invisible forever💤 is very bored, I prefer the Sombra of the live, is more exciting, if for you is short time I think that you need practice more.

I’m not a pro Sombra by any means, but I still enjoy playing her. And my opinions are based on having fun, not being the best.

All the fun about Sombra should be about being able to do your things in the window of opportunity dictated by your cooldowns. Now this is gone and Sombra… isn’t really stronger at any way.

Well, honestly, the only thing I could think of about how this may be a buff is psychological aspect. You know, scaring the opponents with the thought alone you, as Sombra, are out there, hunting for them :V

Hammond in ball form gains 75% movement speed as well, plus 150% movement speed for 1.5 seconds when he swings forward, but Hammond can’t be knocked out of this speed gain when he takes damage, plus he can actually deal 50 damage while rolling fast. But Sombra’s Stealth is overpowered just because you can’t see her? It doesn’t seem logical to me, at all.

Wow that’s someone who doesn’t know how to play Sombra, she is super effective as a dps doing only 20 damage less than a soldier per mag.

Basic Sombra play is simple, drop translocator go invis get behind them shoot, once about half health dip out

Advanced Sombras know thinks like using high ground to hack a Phara, getting behind hacking a rein then killing a healer, and they can use their translocator as a actual assist in battle more than a escape route. I use it to quickly get behind people after baiting them into something like a orisa bastion combo that’s just around the corner and then I’m also in a flanking position

(Which is why I personally hate that it can be destroyed)

If you haven’t already figured out how to counter that I’m sorry but you’re going to be in bronze lol

480 base damage is nothing to scoff at, plus with the spread she has you will hit head shots too meaning you’ll be doing around 500-600 I generally kill tanks with one mag or one mag and a melee. She just doesn’t have burst damage which is why she has 2 movement and a full cancel

Soldier does a base of 500 damage but with a lower spread making it a bit harder to actually hit those head shots, also Sombra is a close range flanker while solider is a front line dps so it might not be the best comparison but I’m sure you get where I’m going

Oh and yes she can out damage a mercy’s heals.

Thats all great if you can get a full clip with head shots on a large character. On smaller or mid size more nimble characters it. Unless you have gawdlike tracking and accuracy that’s not going to happen and even with that its inconsistent because of the spread unless you are right up on them.

Sombra damage is great vs larger body characters up close if you can open a full clip on them without alerting the entire map.

Her Damage per second seems high but when you take in consideration how long you have to unload a clip, and the spread its only really good in the perfect situations which usually involves a large body or being right upon a character.

Fitzy went from calling it a nerf after the announcement to saying it’s too much and unnecessary. This is why you need to actually try it yourself and come to your own conclusion before taking the first GM proclamation as gospel.

I checked his twitter recently. He’s glad about Hack Reload thingy, but he’s still not pleased by the changes.

How is that relevant? The point is that Hammond is basically a better version of Sombra, now that Sombra is slower and her Translocator can be destroyed. The reliable speed that Hammond gets with his Grapple Claw, is just as good as Stealth and Translocator combined, if not better. You can’t stop Hammond when he’s flying silently over a building and rolls unnoticed into your backline, then eliminates your Widowmaker and throws 500 shield on himself, as he swings back to his team again.

I meant relative to other DPS picks bruh. If you play anyone well enough you can get a lot out of them.

All they had to do was giving us a faster reload. But no. Let’s wreck the character because…

Who knows why. Nothing about these Sombra changes makes sense. Who said “Man, I wish Sombra had an even slower play-style and more downtime”?

thats what irritates me about it, people think “infinite stealth/tranlocator=Huge Buff”. then they ignore the fact that they NERFED more then they buffed

‘per mag’, not per second

It’s Geoff, the one who actually ruins the game.
