65% is actually enough for the Hanamura ledge. Or maybe we can ask for 6m/s move speed and keep the 50%. It will still allow you to make that jump.

Everyone has been using pro statistics to “disprove” how good the changes will be, I just told you how good Sombra is on pro play and suddenly everyone across all ranks matter?

Let me tell you one think, everyone across all rank will love new Sombra because she is hella fun, balanced and powerful, her changes will go through whether you like it or not

50% is enough for the hanamura ledge, but there’s like 20 other jumps that are completely negated.

There’s a difference between GM Sombra one tricks and the players in the OWL.

Nothing new in the battle. Only worse.
Without speed, we can’t go back to battle faster
And we are easier to find in invisibility without speed boost

Return speed boost. And work with her hand-hack (some new effects/debuff for target), reloading time and reloading process (throw translocator interruct reloading and we should start reloading again), pistol damage (mostly danteh problem, but i agree in some points. It’s weird that widow damage or bastion damage (not turret) close to the Sombra damage)
Really:
bastion (not turret) dps > sombra dps
widow (not scope) dps ~ sombra dps
mercy pistol dps ~ sombra dps

Guys, you pick sombra instead of Widow or Hanzo. Just think about it. Burst damage (specially with mercy) is to important. Sombra can’t counter solo Hanzo in most cases. Sombra also can’t counter Widow because mercy/zarya/zen/hanzo can save her. Even 1 vs 1 with widow she just can fight with you TO LONG and someone will help her

Improve hand-hack. We know that be hacked by sombra is very annoying for some players (xqc) but hand-hack really should take a buff

I usually run into the point ahead of the rest to clear Symms turrets and it’s a bit of a pain i can’t just sweep across them anymore especially when Symms right next to me. I don’t know how much HP the new turrets have but would be nice to have the translocator atleast as durable as those.

It helps newer players a little bit but you still need to know how to play her to be effectiv and its imposibe to play her in the meta anyway because of triple support and the burst dmg heros so they have time to change her Before adressing hanzos ult or brigitte to finally change this boring meta.

The new Sym turrets have 30HP and I think it would be better to at least have that much Hp for the translocator if they intent on keeping it destructible

THEY DID CHANGES TO THINGS THAT DID NOT NEEDED THEM, THE CLUNKYNESS IS STILL THERE AND MAGNIFIED
They have ZERO IDEA WHAT THEY’RE DOING WITH HER

agreed. Its like they don’t even know how the character is used. They keep saying the changes are to make her better yet the nerfs that come along with them aren’t worth it. I don’t know why they are trying so hard to force us to stay inviz longer than we want to be at the expense of the things we actually use to do our job like our speed. They act like she is the most epic damage dealing flanker in the game or something when she already does the least amount of damage as the rest of the flankers. Now on top of that she will be the slowest flanker in the game. For what? PERMA INVIZ??? Who is going to stay inviz so long that they need perma inviz to hack a target? I don’t need perma inviz to hack a reinhart that is shielding his team. Or a bastion shooting at my team or a mercy trying to fly away or many of the enemies when they are using their ults. They are trying so hard to force perma inviz.

You shouldn’t be focusing on permanent invisibility or “setting up your initiate”, it is not necessary and has been fine.

Focus on managing Sombra’s mid-fight/team-fight sustainability. The reload interruption is a great direction, but her reload speed is still too long. Knock it down .25/.50 seconds or allow for translocator to auto reload.

Along with that, a slight damage increase to hacked targets.

This still doesn’t solve her problems.
The problem with sombra is she can’t kill things with how much healing is going around and hacks are near impossible to reliably get off. She NEEDS more damage to be viable! And old stealth is WAY better than the new stealth, please bring it back.
The rest of these just seem nice but really are just quality of life changes that have no large impact outside of emping the minefield which should have been possible in the first place.

In order for her to be viable she needs to be able to kill things reliably but when some supports are able to CONSTANTLY out damage and out heal your damage coming in, it becomes impossible. So in order for her to be viable you either need to buff her damage and revert everything else back to normal, or nerf many heroes that are keeping her from being a competitive pick. Sombra doesnt need changes that keep her where she is now, she needs buffs that put her up on par with the rest of the dps cast.

For speed, what about a tradeoff where she starts at +75% speed and has that for the first few seconds and then goes down to only +25% when the normal duration of invisi would have expired? So you can still make critical jumps when you first activate invis but you eventually slow down to more of an observer level. Seems like you’d get the best of both worlds there, that way Sombra isn’t too fast and people that played her can use the old style while also allowing the new slower perma-invis style too.

Maybe give her some help to finish her reloading? I dread trying to do it mid fight while having 3 active abilities.

I’ve done it myself on PTR, but it’s tough. Might be easy to mistake it for impossible. There are a lot of other jumps that I’ve confirmed are no longer even close.

First of all, THANK YOU for listening to your player base and being open to dialog. It’s really nice that you’ve taken the criticism and acknowledged the mistake.
The hack cancel is amazing but its really something that pretty much every character has always had, it should’ve been added a long time ago.
The translocator change is truly great! Wish it wasn’t destroyable or at least had more HP but thats a nice change
The ability to contest objectives does sound OP and unreasonable, so totoally understand why it probably won’t be added. However, the nerf in stealth speed hurts, wish sombra’s regular speed would be a little higher to counter this
