I think bap would be just fine, if his invulnerabilty was his ult, and not a cooldown.
If they cut the StormArrow to 3, and kept the current nerf, that would be about right.

Are you ignoring literally everything else Baptiste has going for him? I believe you are.
My hope is they’re planning on doing a Net Nerf patch to the DPS category (not all characters - but a few select changes to rebalance the hero role) ; but don’t want to release Hanzo’s Storm Arrow Rework until they have the other ideas ready.
Otherwise the conversation around OW is going nowhere. People will still play and the forums will still be asking for Hanzo nerfs.

Why are you so obsessed with the idea that Storm Arrow doesn’t headshot?
I get wanting to Nerf Hanzo, but both reduced ammo and no crits? That would just make the ability useless. Might as well just get rid of the ability, which I’d probably be perfectly fine with myself.

That’s what I’m saying. He’s still got his damage, his heals, his HOT, his jump… and it’s not like he’s losing Immortality Field, it’s just less available, same with his ult. Really, he gets his ult too fast usually.
I’d be fine going the other direction.

The point is that Hanzo is OP. Falcon said nothing about Baptiste whatsoever, so you’re offering a counterargument to a comment that never existed.

I don’t know about lying, but I do know that Blizzard’s balance is like a roller coaster that you will eventually get tired of riding. Blizzard pvp balance has always been bad, except maybe in Starcraft. Their balance will be even worst once OW2 comes out like the pvp vs pve balance in WoW.

Baptiste is by far the strongest support (arguably strongest hero too) in the game right now. Not because of IF, because of his sustained HPS. His alt fire alone does 75 AOE HPS. People don’t seem to get how strong that is and brush it off. That has the potential to be 375 HPS, sustained indefinitely (granted it almost never works out that way) and that is just his alt fire. IF is strong, but it is not why Baptiste is so dominant.
Doesn’t Baptist out dps most of the cast currently? He’ll still see much more use trust me, he’s no Zen barrier breaker but he’s still up there close to him.
