In this case, send support a few tickets. Tell them to “check the flagged chatlogs and see if the warning is warranted”.
That’s the only way to give blizzard feedback on the reporting system.

Will do, but where? I have searched for hours on end…sent tickets…but then was stuck with some …did this help you? screens…No, fam, I just wanted to tell my story…that false reports exist…
From battlenet (or login to battlenet on your phone and go to support in the top right of your phone) go to support.
Find “get help” from top right.
Go account.
You’ll get a field with a nurgling(sp?) on it, type something on it.
Go continue
All the way fown is a “i still need help”
You should be able to send a ticket from there.

Humans don’t check those. Player report frequency dictates suspensions.

I’ve always gotten a human after a few times i reply to the same ticket.
You just have to be respectful but persistent.
No, I’m talking about the warnings and the suspensions. Those are automated. Tickets do basically nothing regarding those as well.
If that is the case, one should avoid using both “warning” and “suspension” as words in their ticket so that the ai doesn’t flag it.

Avoids both words so the ai doesn’t flag it as a suspension case automatically and you might get someone to have a look if your silence/wsrning is warranted.
People just reported you enough times for abusive chat… thats it. So simple is their stupidly busted system. I m currently silenced… Why? Cuz asked in games to swap off of hardcountered heroes. Wow how toxic

Depends how you asked i suppose. Instead of demanding a swap, you can just point out that “that hamster is focusing our widow”, “our dva is being hard countered”
It’ll be an observation instead and irk people less.
(8 years and counting, no warnings or suspensions. I’m active in the chat almost every game)

To be fair most people dont ask like that, usually its:
“Genji your **** change chara!!”
There’s not many polite people who participate in chat, personally I muted chat after getting told to KMS because I healed the critically low Tank instead of the DPS and got hateful msg’s afterwards, this community can be extremely toxic and it shows here on the forums also.

This is false, Appeal tickets do work for Suspensions.
The problem is that after they remove it, your endorsement level will be 0 so still no comms 
What would you have him swap to?
If i’m tanking and someone just says “swap” then i ask “what to?”
If i get no answer or an “idk”(it’s happened), i’ll keep playing the character i’m good at.
I would have asked “can we try something else than genji? (There’s too many beams(if that was the issue))”
But only if his stats are less than half of the other dps with double the deaths.
Usually i only ask for swaps on the dps as a mercy if our dps has less dmg than i do XD
And it’s happened sometimes. Our other dps just went “dude, swap off widow. You have less elims than mercy”. (I did also have more dmg while on par with heals with our other support)
It was funny to me. Since the eidow had only died twice.
I’ve been told to do that. It’s not fun after suffering deppression for 10 years.
I just report and mute the person. I’ve had so many good experiences in chat that i don’t want to loose that.
I’m just very liberal when muting players in game.
If they’re being trolly, muted.
Playing music over voice, muted.
Insulting people(team or enemy, doesn’t matter), mute and report.
Encouraging self harm, report and mute.
Slurs, report and mute.
Slightly angry chat without insults, mute.
Weirdo, mute.
Inappropriate and unsolicited chat and weirdo innuendos, mute and report.

Doesnt matter but when you see lets say Genji with 1/5 stats battling Winston/Moira/Mei comp, anything will be more helpfull. But their ego dont allow them, they defend themself with: I m learning. Dude what are you learning? Walking back and forth from spawn?
Yeah I would do the same and I respect your whole stance on the issue, there are genuinely nice people but the trolls outnumber the few.

I might say something like “the team can’t really help genji against this comp”
Because there really isn’t much that can be done. If i’m support i could also say “no amount of pocketing can help genji here”
I always try to avoid laying the blame on a person, i prefer blaming the hero instead. It feels less hostile.
Another might be “it can’t be fun playing respawn sim” but this could be interpretated as hostile.
Whenever i’m asked to swap as a support and someone actually names someone. My answers are usually;
Before match “i’ll swap if this doesn’t work”
During match “i can’t play that hero” or “i’m not very good”
If i’m running for my life and my team wants a more stationary hero “then you need to peel, or i’ll never be allowed out of spawn”
And if they haven’t peeled once in the 5 first deaths on that hero, i swap back.
They sadly do. But little by little i’m muting them all on my end.
And often custom pve modes have fun chat. So if you ever play those, i can recommend having chat on.
Having a bastion hopping under highground and saying “uppies” in chat is adorable(i was weaver).
And often just random chat. I once had a convo about favourite nuts. Turns out that macadamias and cashews were a joint winner for that group.
I’ve only ever met 2 mean people in the pve custom matches during all the time i’ve been playing the modes.
Just yesterday the group was silent, so as i was dead, i had time to type. “Someone find a tiny violin, i died right in front of a healthpack” i was playing genji so everyone agreed that it was very funny. And people relaxed and started chatting after that.
