I found some thing startling about account sellers

After seeing for the thousandth time in LFG someone selling an account I got curious and did some googling to see what people actually pay for accounts, and noticed something wild.

There are people on these sites (maybe multiple people selling through shared accounts) that have tens of thousands of reviews/successful sales (specific stats depend on the site). one site had a person with 23k sales shown, another with 9k. Not sure how many of these are freshies (level 25 unplaced) and how many are specific ranks, but if you think these accounts are being leveled without using third party programs, just do the math.

It takes roughly 20-30 hours of playtime to level an account to 25 normally, even if you had a hundred people working together, 20,000 accounts takes 400,000-600,000 hours combined to level to 25. Of course, this indicates that some account stealing is probably happening.

But who needs all these accounts? Why are so many being sold? It doesn’t make sense, who’s burning through these accounts so fast that they need to keep going back and buying more? My guess as to who’s driving these account sales are cheaters- what quicker way to suddenly need another already placed account is there then to get banned?

Either way- there’s no reality where Blizzard isn’t aware of this, and they’re 100% just letting it happen. Lol this post isn’t going to make any difference, but I had to get it off my chest.

Maybe it’s for other games too

Lol you have 18k posts on a private account named “moira”. You’re not fooling me.

there are bots that can play 6 accounts at once

Errr? what does that have to do with your/my post?

yeah, many people in bronze have come forward in the past with videos and replays of this happening in their games

Yup, I kind of suspected that, as i said in the post sort of lol

If you rightclick (sometimes middle click alone does the trick) overwatch in your taskbar and pick run as administrator, you can open an additional client. Technically you can have as many clients open as your pc can handle

Hitting 25 takes a few hours, maybe less.

You instantly appeared with a reply that discredited the post- literally seconds after I posted it. I’m talking within 5 seconds. So you clearly didn’t read it. You also have far more posts on the forum than anyone I’ve ever seen, which just tells me multiple people are posting on that account.

nah, you’re sus

No I didn’t try to discredit the post, I just said their 23,000+ feedback could be for other game accounts too

LOL I hope u are joking rn lmao

The intent doesn’t matter. The post dismisses the entire thing.

Chinese players prbly

Well it’s true though, they won’t be doing it for just overwatch they will be doing it for a lot of other games too.

they have bots set up for all of it they don’t do it manually

Lol hey its the classic defense cheaters use when you call them out, what a coincidence.

You could unprivate your account for a bit and prove me wrong though, but let’s be honest you’ll just sit here and insult me and change the topic over and over, wont you.

I never insulted you one time… you’re the one who attacked me just for having 18k posts and a private forum account wow lol.

Is this a joke? Moira is a very active and valid poster on these forums… They are often very critical, just because they poked a hole in your “well put together” theory doesn’t make them sus… Wtf.

Try accepting a real, normal, valid conversation as it is instead of being a conspiracy theorist O.o

Moira wasn’t defending cheaters just pointing out they likely do the same in other games. Chill.

first off, not gonna lie, if what I’ve said about this account is true, that’s quite an impressive hustle, seriously lol

And yes, you’re right, but then it still means blizzard’s just letting this happen

What’s with the random hate toward’s Moira OP? If you explore the forums often, they’re just a regular
