I can’t change my graphics quality

When I pick the graphics I want and restarted the game it stay on my normal graphics

Thanks

This is usually because of a permission problem on the system. Here’s an old post explaining:

Sorry to say but it still doesn’t work

Sometimes graphics card apps like GeForce Experience may also override your graphics performance settings from what you try to set in-game. Be sure to check for such applications.

But I had the ability to increase my graphics last time but now I can’t when I restart the game after applying higher graphics it resets all my video settings that I used last time even though I changed it and press apply it resets back too my old settings

Did you read the post I linked you, which tells you how to fix that?

Yup and did not work when I go in the game all my graphics keep on getting rested

Are you using something that syncs your files, like OneDrive or Dropbox? These can overwrite the files with old settings.

Nope I have been using those

The GPU driver control panel might be overriding your settings. For instance, GeForce Experience will do this.

Hey there,

Make sure the Overwatch settings file is not set to read-only. The file is located here:

C:\Users\(your name)\Documents\Overwatch\Settings\Settings_v0.ini

Or, delete the Settings_v0 file and then launch Overwatch again so it will be recreated.
