You know that ain’t happening anytime before OW2 comes out, especially given how that’d effect OWL rosters.
And 6-10 more months of strangled queue times means they might as well cancel OW2

Rein goes in and out of the meta. Ana does not.
I made this thread 9 months ago, complaining about how Ana has been 1 of if not the most picked heroes in the game for over a year.
She has currently been overall the most picked hero in the game for the last 6 months, according to Overbuff.
She only briefly dropped out of the meta when Baptiste was made OP, other from that she has been pretty much the most picked hero in the game.
I am not even kidding when I say that, I wish I was.
Ana might “technically” be balanced but she is still stagnating the meta. She is not like Rein! People have literally wanted Rein buffs when he wasn’t getting picked but literally with zero changes he became one of the most picked heroes in the game.
Ana on the other-hand hasn’t truly stopped being meta since she received her healing buff on her ult. Unless you include the brief period with Bap.

The only way to kill double shield is to finally swallow their pride then state that there are “Shield” and “Off-Tanks”. Once they come out and say it then only allow one shield tank to be chosen in a game. Revert the other (not Rein) shield tanks back to their strongest self.

eh, i don’t really agree with you there.
tanks are nearly always the least popular role.
im not sure if there’s really a way to reduce this other than by having more heroes as tanks, and maybe even turning some border heroes like mei, symm, bastion, etc into em.
if not a permanent fix, it may help for a little while.
Should be pretty obvious, make barriertanks play more like offtanks for combat.
I would not worry about that, once we enter the red zone role queue is going bye bye.

it’s pretty clear to me we have differing opinions that will remain independent of one another.
ana still have the highest pickrate out of all support
Hmm you think they might just be starving out the tanks so they’ve got nice stats and reasons to remove role queue?
Never considered that but it seems as likely as them neglecting tanks to produce stats and reasons for going 132 once OW2 comes out. Which is what I think.

But this is what your post was implying…
It implies that all healers are unplayable and Ana is “sitting with a crown” getting away with being overpowered which is not the case… at all.
I never said that she was OP? clearly you overlooked my next comment and tried to use the original comment against me.
As i clearly stated in my comment after that you can be the best without being OP.
The reason being other heroes being nerfed, which makes you better.
As you see from the example I made about Reinhardt, it’s clearly the case.

I like the patch but they said they were looking at shields, what happened? I guess genji and hanzo will be easier to play into it but still it’s too strong
