How to win when you get ganged up on by 2+ people

in the middle of your own team? And nobody cares? At all? Repeatedly? Even though you’re kind of the one keeping them alive? Because whatever the secret is, I think it’s necessary to know at this point. Enlighten me

The only thing you can do is try to kite as best you can, and hope your team sees them… otherwise the value you’re getting is distracting multiple people, basically. Try to kill one but yeah.

NOBODY KNOWS HOW TO PLAY AS A TEAM. NOTHING BUT FORCED LOSS STREAKS

Matchmaking is such a joke I swear.

I really do need to stop trying to stand up to D.Vas and Winstons while slowly walking backwards like a zombie. Also I think I’m getting a lot of panic aim lately, especially against Sombra and Genji. And Sombra. Also I should mention another one that really annoys me: Sombra

Really though, if I didn’t get so annoyed to the point where it ruins my aim, I would be massacring these Sombras

Sometimes I’ll have those games I’m getting run down as a DPS and I’m like “yep, this is happening…” and just hoping my team is taking advantage of it somehow lmao. :woman_shrugging:

Pick Lucio and wall ride away. Your team doesn’t need to be healed if they’re too busy shooting ghosts. Sometimes enemies are dumb enough to chase a full hp Lucio across the map

If you’re playing Support, either run to your team, ping the enemy target, or defend yourself. You have tools for self-peel, and if you’re stuck with dealing with enemy targets, you can’t be bother to keep your team up, if they can’t be bothered to pay attention.

If you’re dealing with Tanks like Winston and D.va, that’s going to be harder to avoid, as they have lower mobility cooldowns than most of the Support-roster and can travel just as far. Make sure to ping them and hope your team can coordinate a focus-fire to shut them down. Otherwise run for cover and don’t even bother trying to engage them if your team isn’t paying attention or unable to assist you.

You don’t. Unless you play Ana, in which case, just kite one of them while you kill the other and try to use one utility maximum per person.

I 1v2’d a D.va and a DPS (that I can’t remember precisely) as Ana. I managed to kill them both on my own with no assistance, so I believe that you’ll be able to too.

This is one of the most unlikely scenarios you can think of and an embarrassment to D.vas everywhere. This should be seen as bullying because clearly those people were absolute trash to lose a 2v1 to Ana with one of the two being d.va who should have burst you down with her missiles while flying towards you and using DM to eat any nade or sleep you threw out.

Best part is, I didn’t have to use it until she was out of matrix anyways. Piercing her armor as Ana is super easy, so the panic set in relatively quick.

Then again this was pre-D.va defense matrix buff, so replicating this might not be physically possible anymore.

I would personally type in chat “please stop guys im friendly” and then initiate a conga

Don’t play split from your co support.
Don’t waste cooldowns. Use them selfishly.
Position with escape options, healthpacks and breaking los in mind.
Hit your shots.

If the above isn’t working you’ll probably lose. You can however start playing more aggressively instead such as harassing their backline on Moira, off angles on Bap/Kiri etc. It’s better you add pressure than try to play defensively but die regardless.

I’m right next to them, sometimes right in the middle of the formation

I do it incessantly

I’m over here trying to 1vs1 a tank because the other two things sure aren’t working

This is probably the solution; I just need to overcome my stupid ego telling me to stand and fight and not look scared

This is actually something I really have to start working on. The main issue being that I have a hard time convincing myself to do it for whatever reason. Not sure why when there’s nothing to lose

This issue has been made so much worse with the 225hp, there’s 0 value in using mobility aggressively anymore, just use them to run away…

It’s unintuitive and you’ll often get teammates complaining but that’s fine. Who cares what they think.

Aggression is something you’ll need to learn as you climb anyway so best to get used to it now :man_shrugging:

Thank goodness I main the big boi. Weaver took a nerf to his self-heal, but it’s somehow not that noticeable. He really did win this time overall

*Cackling in all of my text chats being disabled*

The day I start going on those crazy deep flanks is going to be marvelous. I seriously wonder how many games I’ve lost that could have been turned around if I didn’t insist on staying to heal a losing team

You can’t and you shouldn’t. Because that’s the team failing. It’s a loss condition and it was met. If you see it happen repeatedly make it your team’s problem and always stick literally next to a teammate so they have to attack you both and they’ll feel it.

Explains everything tbh.

I could be standing right next to them, even in front of them. They just stand there while I get my face blown off

As previously mentioned, I ping them incessantly. I also use “need help”, and sprinkle in some "waiting to respawn"s just so they might become aware that I’m dying

1.) They see those even if they also have the chats disabled, and yet it goes ignored anyway

2.) I don’t think stopping and typing while I’m getting murdered by D.Va is going to help my chances of survival much

One of the things you need to do always is to think have an escape route ready. You kite them till they get bored or your team wins the 4v3. I kite them long enough till they get bored or the rest of their team loses

EDIT: Escape doesn’t mean btw to leave the fight and go far. For example kiting them around los like pillars and suplementing your hp with your self heal and nearby health packs just makes you too costly to keep hunting
