Please, Someone tell me.
How much damage does Ana’s nade do on impact?
60
I believe I have video proof of 115!!!
I will post it here soon.
Why is there a need to cheat at this game?
I have edited the names out so not to implicate anyone.
I have checked other angles too.
Orisa was hiding behind a pillar.
No other damage was incoming except Ana’s nade.
It was DEVASTATING.
It may have been more than 115 damage to nullify what little armor she had.
The grenade did 120 damage, but your armor absorbed 5 damage. The grenade’s damage was doubled (60 x 2 = 120) because she threw it through an amplification matrix. There was no cheating.
Hmmm…

I will review it.
Thank you.
Yes she did throw it through an amp matrix.
Should that be even a thing?
Shouldn’t amp matrix amp projectiles only? Not Nade?
Nade has multiple things on one ability already.
Damage on impact, heal on impact, amp heals, prevent heals,
and now I learn it benefits from amp matrix too?
Man, is it difficult to program out nade from amp matrix benefits?
Deleted thread bro.
Why not even check that before posting?
I don’t see any reason why Nade should be excepted from damage boosting effects. IMAX is an ult, Ana can only throw one grenade during its lifespan, and there are ways to negate its damage (barriers, DM, yadda yadda).
Anyway. If you need to check something like this again, you could use this Workshop code:
46RFE
It’ll give you damage numbers on the Redhog waiting for you outside. One of these days I’ll get off my big fat bum and include the option for a friendly Mercy pocket that provides a constant blue beam.
You could just google it.
Just saying
I did.
It was confusing.
Plus you’d have to be running Ana and Baptiste on the same team.
nade is a projectile…
That’s not too uncommon down here amongst us scrubs, but it’s probably because I don’t trust the Ana to heal and the Ana doesn’t trust me. Oh, and because tanks here start screaming if they so much as sniff a Zen or Lucio.
Nade is a bottle of purple.
You throw it.
It is not shot out of a gun.
The word “projectile” in games like Overwatch is usually used to describe an attack or ability that has to travel. Soldier:76’s rifle does not fire projectiles as the bullets instantly hit their destination; Soldier:76’s Helix Rockets are projectiles because they take time to reach their target.
This makes Ana’s grenade a projectile. Whether she fires it out of a gun isn’t considered. Both Junkrat’s grenades (from his gun) and his mines (which he throws) are projectiles.
and hanzo arrows aren’t shot out of a gun either and they’re still boosted by window.
genji shurikens are literally thrown and still boosted by window.
mei’s icicles are literally just water and they’re still boosted by window.
if you got a problem with what’s classified as projectile fire, take it up with the devs.
Take it up to the Dev’s?
You ask any military soldier,
“Is this bottle a projectile?”
They may say, “No. That is a bottle.”
(Is a grenade a projectile? No. It’s a grenade.)
projectile - noun
an object propelled through the air, especially one thrown as a weapon.
Dude stop being so stubborn. Nade is a projectile and there’s literally zero reasons to exclude it from window. It would be extremely silly.
I don’t get people posting these kind of reactions. Why can’t you just reply with: “Ah ofcourse, I missed the nade being thrown through window, my bad” and end it with that. Everyone makes mistakes, nobody is perfect but being so stubborn is just annoying as hell.
Define Projectile
Google first result: A missile designed to be fired from a gun
Google second result: An object propelled through the air, especially as a weapon
this is dumb
I know right?
Don’t believe everything you read.
