How much damage does nade do?

such as the idea that projectiles must only come from a gun and cannot be an object propelled through the air (nade is an object, propelled by ana throwing it, through the air)

This is a really weird case to be championing…

A projectile is an object propelled by exertion of force that is allowed to then move freely.

A bottle on it’s own is not a projectile. It becomes a projectile however if I throw it at your head. A bullet is not a projectile until it is fired from a gun.

You are hooked looking here already

So you are saying junkrat’s primary fire doesnt shoot projectiles?

They would be wrong. For example, from this news story:

Protesters blocked key roads around government buildings and threw bricks and projectiles at police.

The “projectiles” here are not being fired from a gun.

But even if Military Man was correct, words can and do change depending on context.

Wrong about the damage being a cheat. Wrong about the word projectile.

Keep trying little buddy, you will be right about something, someday.

^ this.

A normal person would say, whoops I was wrong, thanks. Not trying to find some excuse like, “but it’s not even a projectile.”

As per Merriam-Webster, a projectile is
1: a body projected by external force and continuing in motion by its own inertia especially : a missile for a weapon (such as a firearm)

2: a self-propelling weapon (such as a rocket)

this is true

its great.

um…nade is a projectile.

The only things that Amp Matrix doesn’t boost is Melee attacks and Beam attacks. It can boost all Projectiles and Hitscan

And just for reference, a Projectile/Hitscan is something that Genji can Deflect or Dva can Absorb (with Sigma’s rock being the only exception)

Here’s a list of everything Amp Matrix can boost

This post is actually wrong, so I'm hiding it in a spoiler. Move along, citizen.

I believe you can put the link inbetween code tags to avoid that annoyance. If you don’t know how to do that, click “reply” to this post, then click on the little speech bubble above the text field to see what I do here:

In overwatch terms, we speak about:

Hitscan (it travels at the speed of light) it hits where you point.

Projectile (it has travel time… Or simply put, if not hitscan its projectile)

We could classify sigmas rock as special projectile to include dm, deflect etc interactions clearly.

Beams belong to hitscan
Nade is a classic projectile like junkrat primary fire

Use the ` before and after the link with no spaces. I just did it and it worked for me, see below. You just can’t click it but can copy and paste

Oh, nice one. Thanks for succeeding where I failed.

Np, you need a high enough trust level to post links so this is the low level work around

Oh hey it worked. It’s not a link but you can copy/paste it anyway d:
