Rumors say BP will not have currency so you cant buy it back like Fornite ,apex, cod
assuming ow2 will last 6 years(pretty long shot) like ow1 and bp last 9 weeks
you are looking roughly to pay 350Euro on BP
thats way too much for me to spend on single game
Absolutely zero.
People can have a variety of reasons to not buy one at all.
I for example just think there are more important things to use money for.
I donāt even understand what the battlepass is supposed to give you yet
Probably will get the 1st one and see how much I actually like OW2ā¦
But also we donāt really know much about the battle pass. Iām concerned about what the XP will be like and the āchallengesā. Some games do them really bad
After deleting ow1 i will spend: 0ā¬
Thats what they deserve.
If I like the theme of the battle-pass then Iād probably get it, this all depends on the system though. If itās a complete grind then I wonāt get any because I can barely finish passes in other games.
Unless thereās a mythic skin I really really really want and I am absolutely certain Iāll be able to unlock it, I probably wonāt buy one.
I wanted 2019 All Stars Mercy the day it dropped, I finally convinced myself to drop $15 to get it 3 days before it was pulled. I get money, I keep money, I feel intense guilt spending money on non-necessities.
Plus Iām not even sure I like OW2.
Zero
thereās only one way Iām wasting the money on one single battle pass.
Namely if a skin for Widow is included, which shows her as an Overwatch agent. I donāt care about anything else.
I have all skins for Widow (excluding Noire and Kerrigan) including the OWL legendary. and yet I only use Tricolore, because this comes closest to an Overwatch agent and since Iām a Widow main, I donāt really care about the BP or cosmetics for other heroes.
Blizzard would have to pay me money to grind the BP since Iāve had headaches and severe fatigue in both betas, which I havenāt had in any other game. I hope it gets fixed but if not my time will be dedicated to other games and activities as I will hardly ever play it voluntarily.
Where are you getting this from? As far as I can tell there was no new info about the battlepass since lie a month ago
I probably wont, and I am still all for it
Iāll play for free and someone else can pay, good deal for anyone who doesnt want to but them
Approximately exactly zero.
For me, the messaging is more important than what Iām getting. I could care less about skins, profile pictures, and recolors. I donāt mind giving money to support a group that are doing awesome things theyāre really passionate about. Iāve bought several battlepasses from other games and been happy with them just because I wanted to encourage the game and the people making it.
OW feels more transactional to me. Almost like a threat of ābuy our battlepass or youāll miss out and the game will shut down!ā You never really get a sense that the people making the game are particularly passionate about it. They have a 3rd party make skins for them. What artist would be passionate about that? And I have reservations about ever supporting anything Blizzard as a company does. The messaging for me is off, so I probably wonāt get one.
In general, I donāt mind dropping $30 or so a year for something I really enjoy and think the creators are doing something amazing with. Maybe Iām just cynical about OW, but they havenāt done much to change that.
Depends on if the skins are any good. If they are sure Iāll spend 10-15 bucks. It adds up to the price of one game every year and OW gives me more than that value per year.
They are completely taking away the ability to obtain things like you could in Overwatch 1 and making you pay for the privilege of earning them.
Classic case of taking away core features and then selling them back to you.
thats a really weird way to look at it
Zero. That is a big fat 0.
All of them. 350 bucks for 6 years is pretty cheap. I pay more for Spotify.
Iām going to buy all of them because a) I want to support this game financially so they can produce more content and b) Iām a collector and donāt want to miss any of the cosmetics.
I donāt care that much about skins so I donāt know what exactly Iām gonna get with it. Remains to be seen, Iām not a whale by any means but I have spent some cash on Tibia and Path of Exile, but the former is like crack to me and latter is incredibly high valueā¦
