How do you feel about Doomfist?

OP or not.

Low energy right now so can’t tell.

But feels like he sucks.

(doesn’t feel like I helping the team at all.)

His ultimate is not a tank ultimate. Rework it.

Or increase the amount of stuns.

He is absolutely amazing, as a tank player I had to add him to my hero pool because he fits so many niche situations, he’s insanely good into heros like synmetra, Reinhardt, zenyatta, Baptiste, even junkrat. Being able to punch people back and just keep adding that space is pretty good, definitely not the best I think he’s having the “Echo chamber” effect right now where people just keep repeating what they hear, he’s definitely not had he’s “Optimized” the problem isn’t even he himself it’s the fact he has soooooo many counters like a insane amount of counters. The hero himself is fine, maybe a “Slight buff” as everyone says about every hero ever. An actual doom player can make him work, and even if your just using him as a “Standard tank” he works as well.

I just find his current state funny with the OPM promotion coming up.

I don’t know, got hard counter by Mei and D. Va last game.

Was not fun.

But to be fair, pretty sure our 76 was a Medium Bot in a past life.

One of my favorite heroes, super fun to play. He does feel a bit weak or at least inconsistent. Not like garbage tier weak, just slightly below average. Even when im playing him really well, it feels like i could probably get more value out of other tanks.

His ult is awful too, its basically bastions but with one shot instead of 3 lol

Not OP, and after the buff to doomfist up to this recent buff to ball, was the best dive tank. Now he is taking a backseat to ball.

Doomfist is a hard case. He sucks for the most part, but a good player on doomfist can absolutely hard carry every game. He needs to be reworked slightly to make him more viable in all ranks without making doomfist one tricks absolutely ruin every game

Yeah like he gets countered sooo freaking hard, but I don’t know what to do to that without just making him a unstoppable force of nature, they could make it so certain interactions don’t stun him out of power block like sleep no longer does it, or maybe it cleanses him like zaryas bubble like giving him that little bit of “umpf” so he’s not counter by Specifically everyone would help a lot.

As for his ult, I have a amazing change for it, have it restore his hp and his allies and when he lands on/near his team they gain health and a speed buff.

Ball has tons of more Survivability and Damage Chance Output.

Kinda the things DF mains want.

Ball is also the worst tank to be if the enemy actually has hard CC. Giant ball, not moving, 100% dead. Other tanks have means of surviving that circumstance, except maybe junker queen, but she is probably keeping her distance to begin with.

I actually like the heal on ult idea, might be a bit much we’d have to see.

but often times currently you get the best value from his ult by using it to retreat back to your supports, and that says alot about how good it is lol.

Ball has like twice the health doomfist has tho?

Doomfist can block and has non-momentum based escape mechanisms. You get ball stuck in one place, and he is just screwed.

Ehh he’s pretty good. definitely not op but not weak either. Although for non-doom players/people without at least a decent amount of time on him, there’s not really much point playing him.

Honestly I feel like I should have my hero time with him reset after a role rework.

Pretty sure most of it is back when he was a DPS.

I haven’t played him recently. Unless he’s been buffed massively since then, I’d say he’s bad.

However there are bigger issues, so I’m willing to overlook it, for the time being.

Makes me embarrassed when I say I’m learning Doom when my account has 200+ hours on him.
