Clip size difference.
Soldier would r i p through that shield if he had a 45 shell mag

yet soldier still broke that shield in relatively the same amount of time. I dont think ammo is really the key hitter for soldier
I think its his ult and and damage methods in a way is what hits him most
Like deadeye is a ten times better ult than visor
for just its raw power difference

not sure if he’s weak or bap is too strong tbh.

actually he can altern between both fires with animation cancels doing both with about 0.1s downtime (at least last time i played bap it was possible)

Nah, his fall off starts later. I looked it up and I am not sure how accurate it is, but supposedly 30 meters. Either way, he was definitely doing max damage in that clip as McCree would and his is barely past 20 meters.

his dropoff starts from 30 meters, and that wasn’t 30 meters.
Its 50% from 30 to 50 meters AFAIK

I don’t understand.
Something to consider here is that baptiste will never get to fire his primary for that long. Meaning that in practice soldier will be doing far more damage then him.

Apart from Defran hasn’t played Solider in a long time. I think he only played Solider once in the OWL as well.
If you want more details you can check out Unit Losts video on this. But its basically him just saying a support shouldn’t be doing the same damage as Solider, whos one if the highest dps heros.
