Hero pools= one tricks not playing comp

And swapping to a hero I have 0 seconds on will help win ?

I don’t play in a bubble, they swap to counter me then they are swapping away from another teammate that is now countering them so it balances out.

there’s a lack of tank players, we need tank players, especially main tanks = reinhardt

reinhardt players are needed and much less of them, of course no one will complain about a rein onetrick

now a genji onetrick? there’s many of them, excess of them, don’t need more :woman_shrugging:

lol mercy mains have never not been viable and it shows

The real risk is the one tricks playing.

  1. Drop down the ranks since you cant play your 1 trick and lose more.
  2. Hey now I can play my one trick again.
  3. Stomp lower ranked players and ruin those ranks too.

Lets just essentially create smurfs…What could go wrong.

So never practice heroes you aren’t good at, but don’t be a one trick, but don’t do this in that game mode, and don’t do that in this game mode, and always consider what other players think of you and your gaming choices because strangers in a video game know more about you than you do!

Big. Fat. /s

Dont be a one trick?

Learn another hero.

Don’t one trick. It has been proven that it is not a healthy way of approaching this game

Every hero has 4 buttons to understand. It’s not World of WarCraft where you have at least 20 spells and you should master the feel of it.

You don’t play competitive with 1v1 against 1v1 against 1v1 mindset until you count to 6. One hero can do devastating damage to the half of the team, assuming that the other team has bad heroes and doesn’t play properly. Not to mention the ults role in all of that.

I won’t comment you for your current rating but just know that I saw it.

And what if one of the one-trick’s opponents happens to be super good at countering his or her hero?

I will. I’m bronze and will likely stay there for a while. My rating is what it is. I have wins and losses as a team.

Majority of QP games are dumb. Thanks to the mismatch of skill and not caring about teamwork.

Also the strategies that are super effective in QP fail miserably in comp.

So if you lose at all, you’re not an expert at a character, and thus should not play in Comp?

your attempts at twisting my words are laughable, if only you tried this hard while playing the actual game

It’s not the best for your teammates who have to pick up your slack because you’re underperforming on a hero that you’re “learning”.

If Quick Play isn’t your thing there are other modes you can use to practice in. The Workshop has a lot of great practice modes, for example.

i know thats why here lately i have been playing more comp than QP . I only use QP as a means to get loot boxes and other crap

Then don’t play comp… You’re actually one of the problems with that mode.

One-tricking is allowed but looked down upon for obvious reasons. I think it’s good the devs are putting more pressure on us to get better at the game.

it takes like 100 hours to get good at some heroes such as dva.

I don’t think it takes that long lol
