Do you still play the game after everything that happened this year? The content drought, OW2 not coming this year and everything else. I have one thing to say:
Im glad that we share the same feeling.
Whether we have content drought or not, i still have fun playing the game and proud of successfully inviting two of my friends when the free giveaways happened. They too enjoy it to this day. I see newbie players every day as well. Im happy to see that the game still attracts new players.
Lets hope the Blizzcon will be interesting. Whatever will happen, the world could always use more heroes
Feel free to share any of your favorite or positive ingame or forum memories here
for a sec i thought maybe you have a higher border rank than i do but nope. you do have WAY more posts than i do tho lol. ill never stop playing overwatch but i do hope for more cinematics, comics, story etc… maybe a redemption arc for some talon members who knows
These would be great to help with the content drought, but I’ve only been playing for a year now and still loving it. This is the one online game that I actually feel good at. Btw, its good to know there is another fellow jedi playing OW. (FYI my switch account name is JediLegend. That’s why I made the comment.)
I’ve reached diamond level border recently I too hope for new cinematics and comics. Id like to see one about Lúcio breaking into Vishkar for example or what Hanzo is doing during Zero Hour (Maybe thats what the challenge was about? I dont know)
But we’ve finally got Zen lore!
Im not really into vs AI but its good to know im not the only one seeing actual newbies recently.
Well the game is normally fun but after my experience in comp that I just ended I can’t say I’m happy with the game at the minute. Throwers in my last few games or people who refuse to play anything but DPS. And healers who just don’t heal but instead run around in the backline trying to 1v1 Reaper. Like why
I still enjoy playing the game as much as I did in 2016, I love & enjoy the game too much to drop it just because of a lack of new heroes/maps. What we have right now is more than enough to keep me going for a while.
Getting to Masters on Support recently I suppose, idk. I’m a couple stars away from Diamond portrait, which’ll be a big day.
That was my experience playing comp on PC. Now I only play comp matches on switch because I end up with less toxic teammates on there. A factor could be because text chat isn’t available for console and anyone that plays on console usually don’t play with a mic.
Recently I got into gold support rank by only playing Mercy.
Playing on Switch is like playing on console but with the added use of motion controls which I like to use to make my aim better.
The graphics aren’t as good, but nobody plays on a Nintendo console for graphics. I tried playing it in handheld mode and that is really weird.
The game lags a lot if you try to play with a hotspot turned on. When I tried playing with a hotspot, I would be healing/damage boosting my team as my dead body was flying through the air.
Honestly I prefer playing on Switch because it is the one console I play on all the time, but I’m getting used to playing on PC.
