I didn’t even know skin portraits were a thing until I started playing on PC. Another thing that kind of annoys me about it is Mystery Heroes spends about 5-10 seconds with you in a black screen every time you respawn as a different hero. Also, if you backfill into most matches, it takes about the same amount of time for all of the teammates and enemy players to load in as well as the sound. Instead you are left with glowing blue or red lights. If you’re not careful you could die in those seconds the players are loading into.

This reminds me when someone asked for hacked LĂșcio to play mexican music. I still want it to happen

It comes with the Switch limitations and its low playerbase i guess. But at least the game is still enjoyable there as well

I hope OW 2 fixes most of the issues the first one had on Switch. I’ll be buying it mostly because I will actually be able to play the game on the road since it’s going to have a story mode.

Im interested in how the Switch will handle the upgraded engine.

Judging by how things are going with OW 2 development, we may end up with a Switch Pro console before OW 2. At least I hope so. Switch pro is still a rumor though.

That’s cool. I play on Bedrock edition though so oh well

Im still annoyed about voting Glowsquids instead of Mooblooms for the next mob.

I only picked them because I thought they could be used as a cool underwater light source

“Ooh glowing signs” if I knew glow squid would have been so stupid I would have picked moobloom

Yes, I [still] do play the game, even though I don’t think it’s as fun as it was before.

The skins keep me satisfied, even if the toxic playerbase pushes me away from the game for a bit.

Also, you mentioned sharing favorite moments? Just got one. Replay Code is XN50B7. Moment starts at 06:33. I’m “ZeeTheSinful”, the Baptiste going on a Benny Hill-esque chase away from a Reaper.

Been a long while since I was smiling ear to ear while playing the game.

i’ve literally told this story so many times but the gif right below your text is literally forcing my hand -

a few years back my dog had to be put down and i didn’t really know what to do with myself so i launched the game hoping it’d be a distraction. i solo queued for qp - idr who i was playing. we were on dorado though.

someone was trash talking me for playing like crap so i responded ‘sorry can’t aim, crying cuz dog died’ which was weird as hell of me to do in retrospect but i mean? it’s not like i had the energy to trash talk back.

someone on the enemy team told me to meet them at their spawn so i gladly went lucio and skated past the team fight and they were a friendly orisa who did the puppy emote for me and said ‘see this little dog? this little dog loves you.’ and i ugly cried in front of my computer for a few mins bc it was really dumb and sweet.

as members of the enemy team would come out of spawn they’d see me and orisa sitting there and eventually it turned into a throw game and we all just vibed and emoted and they let us have the win ‘for the doggo’ and it was the closest to an r/everybodyclapped moment i’ve ever had lmao.

I got back into OW to prepare myself for OW2, tbh. And because I also missed the game (though it has lost some of the magic I once felt before).

I barely have energy left for playing games in Overwatch anymore.

However, there is one thing that keeps me going—spamming voice lines. It just adds lots of humor to combat and I can tolerate it more than I would be able to.

BEHIND YOU, AAHHHHHHH!!!

I enjoy Overwatch. Actually, I love it.
I just wish that Blizzard care just a little bit about throwers and rage leavers. People who literally just want to ruin the game.
That is the worst part of Overwatch. Not the content. Not the balance. Not the queues or the MM. Just the sad people that stays afk spamming voicelines and then leave the game in the half.

Blizzard, please, I don’t care about OW2 or content. Just ban the toxic people

I too miss that magic of looking at everything new and having that feeling of wanting to try out everything possible. At least workshot is here and we’ve got pretty much new features on PTR for it today.

Spamming or comboing voice lines is a guilty pleasure of mine i mostly doing it at spawn only to make the preparation a little happier.

Go and sit down! Dont get back up!
I dreamt i was- death!
Death is- Joy to the world!
Are you finished? Get off the stage!

Same. Even with getting the black and green pop ups every week i dont feel of doing justice. I never know who got what action so i dont know if it was a toxic player or a thrower/ragequitter they’ve did action against.

I stopped playing a few weeks ago, but am willing to come back if we get decent news at blizzcon. I made it through one year, and it was whatever. But I can’t go through another year of primarily playing this if there’s gonna be nothing.

I’ll still be playing the events.
