but i love to tell ppl how great rivals is when im taking a break from playing it. and i love the salty tears of ppl that still cling to this game.
i also see it as a cleansing of my suffering soul all those years. now i can bathe in the downfall of ow. celebrate it. this game has given so much and then taken much more. this game literally gave me depression. i never thought i could move on from it. but then rivals came and suddenly there is that feeling again of when ow1 released and for the first time in forever i feel excited to play a pvp game again.

If a game gives you depression then you have bigger issues than you realise. May be best to get a bit of help, maybe go hug your mummy or touch some grass perhaps?
yeah sure make fun of my gaming addiction and how hard it was for me to quit ow, a game that didnt spark happiness for a long time yet i just couldnt quit. if you dont know that feeling then you dont know. but you dont have to be a dick about it.

i mean, fair but also im generalizing while they where attacking me personally. its not like i primarily aim to attack players, but whenever they feel attacked, its rather comical to me.
primarily though, for me it is about overwatch and the overwatch devs, not the people playing it. just to be clear.
But… they’re not here… like ever.

even if they dont, that doesnt make it less cathartic to trashtalk them. you might have already guessed it, at this point its personal. ive read, experienced and “endured” so much bs from those devs. now that we have an example of how to handle a game like this as a studio like blizzard, it feels extra weird that they just cant get it done.
and i do have pity. but only if you gave rivals an honest shot and then formed an opinion, instead of just refusing to play it. ofc this is something that i cant and dont want to verify but you get my point.

I did… I played jeff for like 3 weeks and people hate me. Then I played venom and people hated me again except it was now because I wasn’t dying instead of me spitting them off cliffs or into other peoples ults. It’s fun, it’s very similar, and it’s got lots and lots of the same problems. I don’t have time nor inclination to play both regularly though and don’t need to.

i respect your opinion. for me the choice was surprisingly simple. do i stay in the toxic relationship where sometimes we hate**** and then dont talk to each other for days, or do i quit the relationship and chase the new love that makes my belly go tingletingle
