I don’t recall the crisis nearly driving humanity to extinction. If that happened the whole world would be like Junkertown.
Honestly, if we ever get story, I doubt Reaper will actually be the “main” villain or even necessarily a villain at all.
I mean, of what little we’ve gotten, they very much seem to have been laying the groundwork for him being a tragic and sympathetic figure if nothing else.

In game, it’s been over twenty years since the omnic crisis. Most places rebuilt. Also I might have exaggerated a little bit, but my point still stands. The omnic crisis was an absolute catastrophe and Talon wants to start another one.

I wouldn’t call reaper a main villian ,or anyone really ,but the one with the biggest impact I’d say is doomfist, because he’s the leader of talon.
