Her ultimate needs a change. I think her healing is fine in all honesty. Maybe bump it up to 55 at most? Idk.
I mean, yeah, it would be balanced, but people seem convinced Mercy was being used for her 60 HPS or something nowadays. Who knows how the story has changed over time. One day everyone was like, “huh. Y u nerf the pure healers healing?” And then one day it was randomly, “do u member moth meta? It is forbidden.”
Yeah tbh her ult does need a change. I feel like i’m just using my normal abilities during valk. An ultimate is supposed to feel like something new is added to a hero’s kit, not just enhance normal abilities

Thats true however valk doesn’t make mercy busted, just slightly better. A valk isn’t going to keep a team alive during a grav combo unlike trans or sound barrier

Its an interesting concept, but I dont know if it would be helpful in the long run since it would encourage Mercys to hold onto their rez. It takes…30 something to get rez back, right? In that time, they could get 4 rezzes off in a typical game that takes roughly 4-6 minutes depending on the game mode instead of charging it up

But true non blockable 60 hps in low tiers? Nothing will die
60HPS was fine while she had it, maybe Valkyrie could be amped up a bit from that as well

I was mostly talking about the preception of it. You know how it is, they buffed Reaper WITHOUT changing his counter-play and magically the forums lit up in a frenzy because they were put on blast not being able to handle Reaper. It was all cool when they ran into him once every 10-20 games. But once you needed to know how to deal with him constantly? Yeah. People complained.
I imagine it was the same for Mercy. People to embarrassed to talk about how 60 hps somehow made someone immortal. But now that she was nerfed, they defend the change like their lIves depend on it and I suppose it is because it does.

I would rather give her something else, something that actually helps her kit instead of just buffing it. Mercy has been all over the balance spectrum, it didn’t help with her design issues.
She was incredibly Op for over a year. You could not win without her. I’ve been playing since launch and that’s the only time I can remember that happening. At 60 hps she was a true must pick across the ladder bronze to OWL. Can’t happen again

tempo rez is 10x worse than mass rez. both are toxic anyway. tempo rez literally FORCED you to pick mercy if enemy had it. mass rez was just a stupid strategy that shouldnt be a thing
None of the main healers are supposed to have defensive ultimates against grav combos, only off-healers do.
Neither Moira or Ana can do it, so does Mercy. That’s the job of an off healer.
You would get half the amount of Resurrects. Theoretically a match in Overwatch is 10 minutes. If you take 3.5 minutes to charge 1 instant Resurrect that’s 3 Resurrects if you are lucky. It’s time that we think about putting Resurrect on a charge meter way she can hold up to a max 2 Resurrects all with the cast time/movement speed reduction. When in Valk it opens the cap to 3 Resurrects with the cast time.
