Genji needs further nerfs

The current nerfs don’t actually address the problems on his kit, so he needs further nerfs like deflect cancel and deflect duration.

Also his own dps passive needs to be removed.

Would revert dmg to 29 and if it’s too much to 28.

Would also increase fan spread by 2 degree.

If at all it’s possible through coding dash reset to final blows.

Also remove dmg boost for blade.

PS: Ofcourse sojourn is giga busted now without sombra genji as counters but i guess she is the next season mythic skin, let’s not use her as a excuse to balance other heroes.

or you can just get better he’s not hard to take out play a beam character or and sniper or a explosive character melee character or just learn to wor with your team instead of thinking your a one-man army

Also he should throw just 2 shurikens instead of 3
And he should get damages when dashes, like 50 damages.

I’d hold off on the nerf gun a little until we see if the current ones have solved the problem.

If they have not, then you can be sure Blizzard will nerf him harder next time.

I actually want his left click primary to be a kunai with dmg explosive but if I say that forums will explode.

You can still round it the 3 shuriken dmg with fallof on explosion radius.

lol okay I was saying Genji is not hard to deal with not that I’m better the hero because people in my rank are so predictable with movement he barely counters any heroes and gets counted by a lot of heroes

This is arguably the most populated playerbase after the hieght of mercy, i doubt anything will change, only those who used him cause he was op like me will drop out.

I don’t think what I’m saying are nerfs as much as rebalance esp if fan angle is increased dmg can even be pushed to 30.

It’s important that at one point you will DIE to genji. It WILL happen sooner or later. And that this is very unlikely to be avoided.

I can count on my mercy to rez me and then kill the genji.

He has always been able to cancel deflect.

What passive? Cyber-Agility? Not happening.

Doesn’t matter.

It’s wide enough.

Team game, so this is a benefit for him and allows for and enables team work. Not happening.

There are far more damaging ultimates that benefit from Damage Boosting better than Genji’s, ultimate. That includes Death Blossom, Barrage, and Rampage.

Used to require dash or wall climb to cancel.

Devs already talked about changing dps passive it’s almost a definite.

It does matter cause it changes break points on combos.

Not true it’s the single buff that caused genji to become easy.

It’s a random cd generator.

Unintentional random cd generator is not a skill.

Nanoblade is the single most powerful fight winning combo in the game esp more so after cc reduction.

It’s what greatly reduces how to balance genji.

Looks at the current post from Blizzard describing how the queues have shifted.

Come on man, you know that the constant flankers have been pushing people out of playing support in the lower / mid ranks.

Blizzard has literally just done a blog post about queue times problems.

Yep genji definitely has a skill to value issue cause that’s why you can’t tweak him without pushing him without making him op.

Which is why I’m suggesting kit changes that give him that value expansion.

People don’t wanna play supports because theyre garbage at protecting themselves and are boring as hell to play because they have to heal their tank 24 7 or they lose. Not because of genji. I gurantee you these genji nerfs fix absolutely nothing about supports.

He didn’t even get any changes in overwatch 2.

Oh ok, so they have a skill issue, which is why they are moving to playing DPS and Tank, because they want the low skill options.

That makes sense, so, making changes to making DPS require more skill is off the table why?
