Saying that genji requires more skill than widow not only shows that you understand nothing about FPS, but also that you are a die-hard genji fanboy and that he’s likely the reason you play overwatch. the devs made this noob-friendly hero for players like you, and you don’t need to be offended by it

She’s not a hard counter, at least not anymore. That 1 second interrupt can disrupt a dash or deflect but that’s about it.
Your metal rank understanding is laughable. A plat widow in a diamond game can hit more hs than an OWL genji can pull off that combo in a low GM game. That’s how you know the latter requires more setup and skills.
As I said my guy, I’m not going to continue this conversation with you, believe what you want! but both of us know what’s right:) again, what you just said is completely illogical but I’m not continuing this dance, I truly hope you’ll have good time playing the game.
By the way, don’t dare to rank-shame people. I’m a top player in my main game that offers much better competitive environment than overwatch, and even so it’s likely I would have been higher ranked than you if I were to grind overwatch, as I said before I engage in this type of conversations since I care for competitive game design.

Genji had 2 good moments in OW1
2016-2017 and the 2 weeks of him being buffed
The rest of his time in OW1 he’s been mediocre at best, a meme character only played by one tricks
This argument has a logical flaw in it, because you define skill level as a difference in success between a professional league and a masters game. The reason that this is wrong, is because that you need to take things by their design and not by 2 individual groups with massive skill difference between them - widow can be very impactful if she’s not dealt with, and maybe there’s something to look for in her performance. However, across the ranks genji by definition can execute instant kills at every given moment, because he is designed to do that in melee range, it’s much more versatile than widow’s hook-shots or angle holding, and very different than every other hero’s medium to high TTK in overwatch. Again, genji is the only hero in overwatch that can actually execute low TTK eliminations, and this is my only argument against him, and this is not something that you can debate against because it’s a mere fact.
