I watched June’s video, and I thought it was simply fantastic. Her kit is perfect, everything was made especially for her.
I’m happy that it seems that the Overwatch producers finally seem to be “thinking outside the box” and adding new gameplay mechanics to the game, and not the same old same old things.
I really liked June, although I’ve seen a lot of clueless people complaining “aww the support does damage? that’s ridiculous”
I hope they don’t consider these people who are already crying and complaining before the hero is even released.
For the record, I personally think she’s a very good mix between “familiar” and “new”. Sure, speed isn’t new, but the way she applies it is. Sure, damage boost isn’t new, but the way her (insanely cool, btw) ult applies it is, etc. etc. yada yada. Not that I know anything beyond the 2 minute trailer, anyway.
Lol if this user couldn’t see the new mechanics, they didn’t watch the correct video. I’m not one to ignore the mistakes of gaming companies. But this time the blizzard really got it right with June.
I don’t quite know what you’re getting at, considering every hero has at least some amount of “thinking outside the box” about them. Do you mean they thought outside the box in a way that’s agreeable with you?
So that’s what the giant orbital laser does. I couldn’t tell from the trailer what any of her abilities actually do outside the speed boost. Of course they give the giant orbital laser to a support first.
