Kinda think of it current res makes more sense though. In normal fights and Mercy being a target healer she can often lose a teammate and res them. But res multi means there was a team wipe and she almost alone survived. That situation itself is pretty strange. She has to be the first target even without res.
So even if we revert I think res shouldnt be mass res, maybe res 1, or 2 people

If single ult can kill up to 6 players, res should be able to res 5. And yes, she should be first target…but it goes against “deal with whoever hurts me” logic of shooters, together with Mercy being more agile target, than most tanks. She wasn’t picked by high tiers, because mass res was easy to counter for coordinated team. But after Ana’s fall, she became only remaining main healer.

Well I still dont see how that is good design. Like if the ult was Moiras, it would make more sense actually cause she has fade.
However its just some bad design, maybe not critical. And losing multi res did occur the gravity dragon problem. Old designs is pretty messy
I respect your opinion but hide and mercy, even though it was extremely unfun to play against, teached players how to track enemy and friendly ults. This further encouraged more strategic and skillful plays. So basically, Mass Ress = Strategic play whereas CD Res = Easy to pull off, Just as hard to counter as mass ress and is overall not all that skillful.

It was underpowered, hence the multiple buffs since game’s release.
You’re never facing 11 oponents at a time. If Mercy resurrects her entire team, the best you can say is that there are a two differents fights, or an extended fight.
- It wasn’t common.
- It wasn’t the main strategy since it was the worst.
- It could have been removed by changing the SR system.

There is never more than 6 people on any team in QP and comp. Never. I get what you are thinking but the way it’s phrased is factually wrong.
