I have 410 hours with her and think the rework was wrong and therefore stoped playing her.
Problem is she is still a very strong healer and good for pretty much every comp. Most people will pick her just to win the game not because they like her or find her fun but because they want SR and Victory on their screen.
I dont notice cause I play tanks usually and have alot of fun doing it

Or how was it ever more involved. You fly in and hit q for a rez. Valk still has mercy more involved then that even if her skill ceiling is low. Thatâs the part of the argument I donât get.
On their defense, they donât play Mercy ._. though, Mercy appeals to a lot more people than what they can understand so even if the 70 people who feel that sheâs unfun stopped playing altogether, her numbers would remain high still

I will never Boycott Mercy. She is my go to support when I need to flex.
The only thing that Iâm boycotting this month is the new Star Wars movie. I canât even think about TLJ without feeling sick to my stomach.
I havenât seen it yet but sad how much hate itâs getting. At least I wonât have my hopes up.

I have played Mercy since beta and will continue to do so no matter what changes come.
I highly doubt that tank mains are all deliberately not playing tanks as some kind of âboycottâ, itâs just that healers are more fun than tanks

It is all about the pick rates. I see so many posts on the forums about suggestions to make Mercy more fun and they are really good. But nothing will happen until that pick rate goes down. If you really want something done, you have to do something about it.
And youâre cheating the system so you would be in the wrong here. Sure they might not know but you know youâre doing something wrong.
You are artificially making her look bad because you want a buff. Many other heroes actually need a buff we donât need people tanking a heroes stats because they complained about that her.
Itâs not really cheating the system. If Mercy isnât fun and nobody plays her, they will give her some more fun tools to make her more fun. Itâs that simple.
Yeah, donât boycott then. If she needs the changes, it will be âthat simpleâ.
It is cheating the system. Youâre using it for unintended purposes to force Blizzard to buff a hero who obviously doesnât need a buff because sheâs picked a lot and wins 50/50. Guess what happens if they were to buff her and you stopped boycotting? Her pickrate would skyrocket to the 90s again and her winrate would get pushed over 50% and she would immediately get nerfed.
Iâd rather not them boycott Mercy because there are many situations where a Mercy is needed. Also she doesnât need changes. like i mean mercy mains can go off but they still havenât proposed a remotely reasonable âsolutionâ that isnât convoluted. Not that there have been convoluted yet reasonable solutions. None of them have been reasonable bar nixing rez entirely.
Damn those players for enjoying a balanced and powerful hero and playing her.
If youâve looked at the forums clearly Mercy mains are not happy. Every single day there is always a post on the front page about some change Mercy needs. Right now thereâs one where someone wants her to crouch during rez. Thereâs also one about Mercy needing instant rez in Valk, which is 100% true. You can check every day. If people want change they need to act.
As inspirational as that sounds, this is a video game where people are anonymous.
Itâs called the silent majority and a vocal minority.
Instant Rez in Valk is not going to happen. Itâs ridiculous.
