What are you talking about? Ana and Lucio had painfully high pick rates unless you are talking about the season where Ana and Lucio got nerfs?

Let’s quit basing Mercy arguments on pickrates, shall we?
Mercy 1.0’s pickrate was inflated due to being the ONLY (reliable) healer in matchmaking, since Lucio and Zen can only deliver supplemental heals and Ana is unreliable (her reign during The Tank Meta notwithstanding).
Mercy 2.0’s pickrate was inflated due to her being OPAF for several months.
Mercy 2.9’s pickrate is still inflated, due to players still picking her out of nostalgia and her basics still being strong enough to be the ONLY healer who can reliably solo heal (which makes her a must pick in most soloque team comps).
Until we get another healer who can reliably soloheal in matchmaking, Mercy’s pick rate will remain inflated.

THEY SHOULD HAVE RELEASED MOIRA BEFORE GOING THROUGH WITH THIS PIECE OF SPIT RE-WORK!
We don’t know how that would have effected the meta since they took the sledgehammer to Mercy before releasing this new support character.

IDK about Ana, but I bought the game before Lucio’s radius nerf - I saw him in so many games, and he was actually the first hero I picked up because it was easier to solo heal with him. He got the nerf and I saw less of him, more of Mercy.

He was asking how Mercys rework could be a success when she has a lower pickrate now than she did when she had Mass Rez.
Moira wasnt around to lower Mercys pickrate during Mass Rez.

When I got enough comp points for a gold gun (sometime in January?) I was going to buy Mercy’s - all my friends told me “no!! she’s useless, it’ll be a waste”
But I bought it anyway - because I love this hero, and I’m willing to fight for her. I genuinely still have hope that the devs will someday get up and realize “hey, maybe something needs to happen.”
It’s happened with other heroes. I still have hope and I still believe.

Ok, I had to scroll up sorry.
My biggest complaint is that they should’ve held off on making any big changes to the support roster without implementing more heroes to the support roster first. Now we are finding abilities in the support category are going to start countering the effectiveness of each other.
By the looks of it, the armour passive from Brigitte’s ultimate will counter any heals Mercy can provide her team rendering her ultimate even less impactful.

I will say now that you mentioned Brigittes ultimate: I do feel like its impact and effectiveness feels like what Valkyries was supposed to be.
Rally is a slower, more sustained ultimate like Valk but it actually feels much better to use. I wouldn’t mind if they changed Valkyrie to feel as impactful as Rally somehow.
I’d be fine with an entirely new rework at this point lol. I think she needs an ultimate that will benefit teammates alive as well as allies that died but harder to execute. Compensating it by giving her an over the top and fun E ability to use.

I play snipers, so res can be really annoying for me, but i still think she needs to have instant res in valkeyrie, if not she needs 2 charges. Its just stupidly easy to shoot her out of her ult when shes resing, even as hanzo. Sometimes im even able to shoot her out of her ult entirely as mccree, regardless of if she is resing.

If you’re using multiple ults when you know the enemy team has a Mercy who has res… That’s a you problem.

Are you dense or something? Trans can’t save you from getting teamwiped by a graviton combod with burst ults. Neither can barrier. Mass Rez can reverse a team wipe
