Note: It’s not delete “name” hero thread. I don’t want to destroy or make Doomfist unfun to play. I just want him to be more fair.
All edits were made to update some information and make thread more tactful.
After spending more time in comp I’ve noticed Doomfist is in every match. Every third match i got hide-and-one shot by random doomfist while playing as support. Now let’s take a look at top 500 DPS in current BETA season (since I’m level trust 2 here’s a great thread about it):
Doomfist is everywhere! (on par with Widow, Hanzo and Genji, but it’s another story)
And guess what? Instead they locked Symmetra in dumbster tier again!
Role lock revealed how much he’s powerful. Blizzard need to do something about him as soon as possible.
Ground up rework would be great, but now they need to tone him down immediately.
P.S. You know there’s something wrong with game mechanic when you have to counter CC-damage hero using another CC-damage hero (especially since Sombra is nerfed).

Before i start this discussion:

Every hero requires skill, even heroes with one star difficulty.“Doomfist is the high risk - high reward hero”
The reward is way too high (you, fellow Doomfist mainers, are not just annoy whole enemy team with CC, you’re destroy them with right play).
With brand new role queue (now there’s always 2 healers so Doomfist players now getting a lot of heals) it’s obvious that Doomfist is a very very powerful hero (and very annoying).
So I think one of this nerfs (maybe even couple of them) would be very fair to execute:
1. Nerf his survivability: “Best defense” passive ability.
Doomfist got 250 hp (one of the highest DPS health). With “Best defense” ability he’s generate personal shields when he deals ability damage with maximum of 150 shields (250+150=400 hp Meanwhile Sigma and Zarya (both tanks) have 400 health either).
2. Make shields stop his Rocket Punch (just like Briggite’s Shield Bash)
In my opinion it won’t hurt him too much and will fit in overall Overwatch abilities logic.
(UPD: Yes, i agree. This nerf is unacceptable in current double shields meta).
3. Increase his Rocket Punch cooldown or decrease it’s distance
One-shot ability every 4 second isn’t very fair.
4. Remove his CC time completely
Maybe it’s not the fair nerf but there’s way too many CC in Overwatch.
