My DVA stats are 1-1 with about a 6-1 KDR and 25k average damage. Almost all top % again… how am I still 50% with DVA even? Granted that’s a small sample size…I’m guessing if I played her more it’d still be low wins
Just because you get kills, doesn’t mean you make them at the right time.
Example:
Enemy team kills your entire team, you survive and make 3 counterpicks before you die. Your stats are good, but you managed to get these kills after the fight was already lost. In this example you were too late to actually be off any value to your team or the match.
So without a VOD, there is no way to tell what you are doing wrong. But obviously as others said already, you are doing something (more likely multiple) things wrong.
If you want you can send one to me and I can have a look for you. But don’t post a steam roll win or loss, post a game that was close. That way people can actually point out stuff that could have resulted in a win.
I don’t really want to download OBS or something like that, as I have a medium level computer and don’t want to bog it up.
I was less asking for advice (as I feel I don’t need it), and more so just saying how amazed I am that I can perform really well and still lose more than 50% of my games.
…this is also my alt account. My main is in diamond.
Well, here is your problem. You think you are a good player and have nothing to improve. Wrong.
I guess you didn’t mean this? Or you wanted everyone to say how awesome you are and that the system is holding you back? Without proof? I guess you can go talk to one of the conspiracy theorists that hang out in the forums.
Right… Post from that account (with a public profile) if you want us to believe you. Diamond players don’t get stuck in low gold unless their gold account is played in a very different fashion (with lower friends, different role, etc…).
If you didn’t come here for advice then this post is pointless. We need gameplay to tell you what you’re doing wrong. I can tell just by your attitude that you have a ton to learn.
Sites like Overbuff are good for catching trends in your stats, but please take the info you get with a grain of salt.
Overbuff used to claim (before private profiles) that I was in the top 1% on several characters in several categories. I assure you my aim on McCree is less than the top 1%.
Well you’re in luck! OBS is a relatively low impact program for recording, and a medium level computer should be able to run it and Overwatch easily. Additionally, if you have an Nvidia GPU, you can use Shadowplay/GEForce Experience which uses the same recording method and is little to no impact. So how bout it? Are you confident enough in your gameplay to show it off?
Or some people just aren’t very good at the game and don’t put in quality time to improve. You can mindlessly grind 100 hours of comp without ever climbing because you don’t think about what you do at all, or you can spend a little bit of time going over your previous game play or practicing mechanics and improve significantly more in less time.
