Explain this pl0x?!

Look I am no expert, but the aim of the game is not getting a low K/D ratio, or even a long period of on fire. The aim it is to capture objective, move payload etc. obviously you are losing because you aren’t doing that.

I’m losing because my team isn’t doing that…

My objective time is even top % with PHARAH. Why I have to do this? I don’t know.

Look it’s clear you don’t want any actual help. You just want to whine about how your teammates are holding you back because you’re totally a super pro hidden gem trapped in low gold and for everyone to jerk your stats off.

If you want to actually improve, post gameplay. Otherwise, we can’t tell what you’re doing wrong and you’re going to continue to stay trapped thinking that you’re way better than you are.

No, odds are you are killing the weaker low impact players on the the other team. So you get decent stats, but it’s not key ELM at the right time for your team to capitalize on it.

stats are a trap low SR player fall into to help justify them thinking “not muh fault”. Yet if you watch Jayne’s VOD reviews or any of the other high SR players/coaches etc the people in the VOD always, I mean always, make errors that line RIGHT up with their current SR tier.
Everyone does, even the masters looking to be GM, GM looking to go Pro, golds just being gold etc.

if you’re stuck down in meh 2k, you’re making meh 2k errors.

It takes about 460 games to cycle through all the combinations of 11 players in your game. So you would need to play about 700 games to have a 90% chance that the bell curve has formed. Play 300 more games and please repost if you’re still experiencing trouble.

Look at your deaths. /Thread

Just because tanks are a big part of the team composition doesn’t mean dps is useless. At the end of the day, if the enemy team dps’s are out performing yours, you are more likely to loose.

Watch agilities play pharah. I’m sure you pick up some tips. He seems so hard to kill.

A: stats dont mean anything if what you are doing has little to no impact what so ever on the game
or
B: you are good and simply playing it will fix it

me thinks it A because what ever kills and damage you are doing isnt helping you win fights

I dident say useless. I said least important due to the fact that your teammates need to enable you. Its easier to play the enabler role and make up for your teams performance by winning duels you have lower odds of winning. Like zarya killing a tracer or winston killing reaper. The odds are lower but your ability to compensate for other heroes weaknesses is op.

Teams have resources efficiency and control.

Tanks give High control for lower efficiency.

Damage gives High efficiency for lower resources.

Supports give High resources for lower control.

Control is generally your win condition. The best heroes to fulfill the most common win condition are tanks.

Feel free to jerk to my stats if you want, but that’s not the point. I’m just saying, look, I’m performing really well, but still losing 50% of the time. It’s frustrating.

I’m not saying I don’t make errors. I’m just saying that my errors are much less compared to others at my currect SR, yet I’m consistently losing games. At least, that’s what my stats would say.

I don’t know what you mean by low impact players? I’m killing the one’s that are “standing out” as bad? Or what?

Obviously, as pharah I’m generally targeting healers and back line targets. Occasionally defending healers if they’re struggling against tracer or something…I mean, I’m not just unloading into tanks. My damage is actually pretty low for the number of kills I’m getting.

This I could understand. It’s just frustrating to play very well and still lose. Again and again.

Should I just run away every time we lose a teammate? My team wipes consistently. If I didn’t have as many deaths, I’d actually think something was wrong. It’s still over a 3-1 KDR which (I think?) is good.

Thanks for the tip. Maybe I’ll check him out.

It just seems that more often than not, even getting a pick before we move in, my team can’t capitalize.

I’ve actually found that playing tanks does seem to help almost more than DPS. It seems like most DPS players at this rank have about the same skill level, but there can be tanks that just kind of sit there and do nothing. A good tank really has seemed to make a larger impact.

That actually may be one of the reasons I’ve been so frustrated. I can kill two people, but if our tank can’t stay alive or do anything, our team has trouble capitalizing. But if I can tank well, I can almost force our DPS to get kills, like you said.

Wouldn’t that be the same thing if a pharah kills a widow or a genji kills a winston? Also define “control” and “efficiency”. Some dps also has a lot of map control like Junkrat controlling chokepoint or controlling her whole entire sight line.

That’s your problem right there. All you do is stagger and try to build your stats. When actually the #1 most important stat is deaths.

…except that’s not what I do.

Maybe I need to explain to you what a 3:1 KDR is? It means that for every time I die, at least 3 people on their team die (that I have recently damaged).

Maybe I need to explain to you that I am a master and you are a gold. And the reason you are in gold is because instead of taking advice from people who know better you make snarky comments about how you are an amazing player who does nothing wrong and everybody else is stupid.

Oh… And 3:1 k:d does not mean you belong in a higher rank. You’d cry yourself to sleep if you knew what mine was in gold.

I actually have an account in diamond as well. Which is not that much lower than you, son.

And I’m sure I could rank that up to masters if I spent as much time playing this game as you do.

Actually, it does.

And why would I cry myself to sleep?
