Experimental Mode – Shotgun Consistency

Its getting more then half of his damage done, its more then good with his range and HP.

3 games played, the buff is obnoxious in combination with his Ult, his former Ult on E, and his auto aim turret which got 250HP.
Not to mention, he is getting his Ult ready every 2nd teamfight.

Horrible buff and hopefully it doesnt get through if they dont nerf anything else for compensation.

Again devs no tested this. How this update will help kil l target after hook? him shoot area still BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG and some hero like ana hitbox still smaaaaaaaaaal.

It actually is! Kinda shocking a little because we only see it as a mobility tool xD

Admittedly it’s early days, but I like the Torb change! Even though it’s technically less DPS, RMB feels meatier, and I don’t chew through my ammo as quickly. Thanks!

So you guys are nerfing hog’s current damage (7 to 6) but not giving back either his 6 mag size or fire rate? Like the only difference the patterns make is long range shots and it doesn’t really effect his hook combo.Thanks for making this hero useless again! :smiley:

Just for a failed experimental project😼

How about torbs turrent so we have more control over it, like letting torb lock on to a target for the turrent or if the turrent is taking fire it locks on to that person instead of endlessly firing into a shield.

So you nerf Roadhogs fire rate and ammo count and raise his individual pellet damage by 1. Then you revert the pellet damage increase but don’t revert the fire rate and/or ammo count.

Either this shotgun pattern change is SOOOOOO massive that you need to actually properly explain it or this is some legit hard trolling

Hog’s damage was never a problem in my book. His hook inconsistency was and its range. No need to nerf his damage, just reduce his hook range and fix his god damn hook.

Roadhog is the kind of tank that deals damage. That is his forte. You decide to nerf his damage, while leaving his “I will hook you behind walls and any kind of cover thing”, a thing. Fix him hooking people from Narnia, nerf his hook range, leave his damage, he needs it.

A lot of her “tank utility” is her primary fire. You want to know why Sym and Mei will always be bad? (You’ve probably already heard this.) They are front line DPS who clash with tanks and directly contest tanks. They are not evasive or sneaky. Played optimally they have always directly helped in the tank war (mei more than Sym). This is what they mean by “third tank.” Like Owl games how many times did we see her and rein and Zarya just trying to outbully their mirror?

People want tanks who outplay tanks and make space, dps who outplay dps and supports, or force the tanks to turn around, and supports who outplay tanks and dps. Generally. m DPS who can make tanks back up and afraid to take back space from the front have been despised, and kind of break the game. (Mei, reaper, Sym…Junk to some extent.)

As long as you have a low aim, space creating tool as your primary function, I don’t think you can be good. The character is either going to be under powered, in which case why would you play a character that needs to brawl and has no evasion, or they are going to be OP, in which case why are we allowing a DPS to create all the space with what are very nontechnical attacks?

I agree with a lot of your changes, but freeze must be heavily demphasized or rethought. Same with Sym’s beam.

I’m all for this! If you can make it so that when I hook a valking mercy out of the sky because of raw mechanical skill and her poor positioning she DIES, AND you make it so that other tanks can contend with hog. I’ll still play the game! but right now, anas still arent dying to hook combo 100% of the time, and that feels really bad. Consistancy is all we’ve ever asked for. we just want our mechanical skill to be rewarded. and their poor positioning to get punished.

torb got a good spread, d.va has better spread definitly, i think that looks too good tbh.
roadhogs is bad but atleast he’s got hook and right click to compensate.
ashe’s is terrible but it really doesn’t come into play as a damage dealing tool all too often in that way so i guess it’s ok.
reaper, well it’s similar to roadhogs, it’s not good.

if you want reaper to not be able to one-shot at 5m, i guess that’s ok.
but don’t expect him to be performing that well.

but i commend you for trying things, i remember when this topic was out of the question and now you’re atleast testing it. :+1:

How much damage did you did the most ? I did 17k with 7k being turret, he is the epitome of glass cannon
