I think a majority of people find these the most annoying heroes to play against in OW (I would add Sombra) and I’m guessing they would rework them rather than just straight buff them back anywhere near where they’ve been in the past. Their current set of abilities restricts what they can do without a rework so they don’t appear too much and annoy too many people. I would vote to rework rather than buff all of them. I hate each and every one - Mei, bastion, sombra and symmetra.
I like the recent changes reducing firing rate in general, less spam is always welcome, that with reducing aoe healing.

I really like the idea of increasing spread consistency, but can you guys please look at other random firing effects too?
Pharah’s ult could use some attention. It fires a random pattern of rockets that at times can kill your targets rather quickly, and other times it seems like it hits every place but where you need it.
It’s already a risky ult, so a predictable pattern would be greatly appreciated.

This ExC looks interesting. The impetus is sound. Definitely feel the RNG spread for/against. Now if we could also get some consistent ladder integrity, maybe experiment with real ranking and less rng ranking system - that would be great!

He could have had his damage reduction on E removed. He could have had his reel speed reverted. Literally anything to keep his consistent damage and this was what he got.
And he never got ammo back in his mag again. I’m disappointed in these changes

Roadhog should recieve a nerf to his heal, not his damage. The problem with him is not his one shot, I’m fine with that. If he’s not getting one shot hooks consistently on squishy heros he’s not doing his job. The problem is that he can be out of position, get the one shot and STILL live because of his heal. Try this, nerf his heal so that he can’t move during it nor take damage reduction, like how it used to be 3 years ago. Keep his damage the same.
Mostly D.Va doesn’t have low damage at range because of the spread. It’s more due to her 10-20m falloff range and the fact that shotguns still get reduced to 30% damage at max falloff (as opposed to every other gun with falloff which get reduced to 50%).
At 20+ meters her gun only does 6.6 damage per shot, and that’s if you hit every pellet. This ends up being 43.5 damage per second. For reference, winston’s tesla cannon does 60 damage per second, so this is about 2/3 of that.
No Sym buff? What a suprise. But hey, it 2-4 months we will probably get something like “Orb Explosion radius increased from 2 meters to 2.1 meters”.
I just wont touch her anymore until she is reworked. With 120 Orbs, there is no reason to pick her over Pharah or Torbjörn even if she is fun. It’s just too weak and that removes the fun.

I think the theory is that if you know the star pattern spread of Hog’s gun you can aim to maximize your pellets hitting consistently.
Honestly, after trying it in practice range for a bit I couldn’t consistently get a 1-shot kill on a 200 HP heroes.
-Sombra hacks remove any shield for enemy health (like Sigma/Bastion/Brigitte)
-Torbjorn Turret up Cooldown 10s to 25s or 30s (like Baptiste Immortality Field and Mercy Resurrect), not fair a powerful ability aimbot and aimlock only 10s
-Junkrat Frag Launcher fast but low damage
Direct hit: 80
Rate of fire:1 shot per 0.650 seconds
-Pharah Rocket Launcher slow but high damage
Direct hit: 130
Rate of fire:1 round per 0.987 seconds
-Zenyatta
1-Orb of Discord absorbed enemy health for faster healing for Zenyatta or teammate
2-Orb of Discord weak (nerf) enemy damage for 4 Seconds
-Important thing don’t buff cheap character (bastion and torbjörn)
The thing is that in perfect conditions the hook and primary fire combo can one shot. But in game you will rarely have those conditions, the enemy isn’t always going to be standing right in front of you on the same level ground, right in the middle of your reticle.
That’s why I added the comment about how I couldn’t do it consistently in experimental. Some people were able to consistently pull it off prior to the buffs, but I don’t play much Hog so I was not one of them. To me the spread change does not seem to have made up for the damage nerf on top of the ammo reduction and fire rate nerf from last patch.
This is bad… It will encourage more spamming. As is now good Junkrat players try to land direct hits over spam. You’re literally moving him away from this into “fill the area with as many nades as fast as possible”.
Does symm have a shotgun? Must be something new. Why do symm fans try to turn every topic into a symm whine? This experimental is about shotguns. So no, no symm changes, obviously.
I’ve been suggesting nerfs to his heal alot since his damage got buffed. I wanted to see 2 sec added to the cooldown on take a breather rather than reverting the damage. His self healing ontop of the damage was just too much. I did just try out the experimental patch in training grounds and I can’t one shot a tracer anymore. I don’t want Hog to be the dumpster pick of the tanks anymore but I think a better way to keep him relevant would be keeping his insane damage and just nerfing his survivability. He already has 600 HP which is tied with Hammond for the most of any tank. On top of getting pocketed by a Mercy and having a 300 hp heal on an 8 sec CD, it’s just way too much healing. And before everyone comes in and says “bionade to win” there’s also alot of Zarya paired with him so they bubble to remove the antiheal and also if the bionade goes on him when he’s at full health, usually it will wear off before you can get all 600 HP down and then he uses his heal right before you get the kill.
imho, Symm is probably worse off than Mei.
