Exo Boots need 3-4 seconds CD

Asking me to tell you how balanced he is seems like bait, but I think he’s well balanced. Give me a couple of minutes and I will edit this post with his multitude of weaknesses.

Edit: here’s a post of mine from December 2019, when he got his first “rapid fire” buff with no other major changes to his kit (aside from window duration and reduction in healing nade splash size) when compared to launch baptiste

People are asking for Baptiste nerfs so that he doesn’t become meta. Baptiste is great burst and good shield break but his weaknesses are extremely obvious and exploitable.

His weaknesses are:

• baptiste has a larger hitbox than most Support heroes
• limited self healing
• very exploitable high jumps
• no mobility, only verticality.
• immortality field is weak hp wise,
• cooldowns are pretty easy to bait out if you’re smart.
• DB instantly deletes everything in the immortality,
• Sombra ez modes him, being able to hack Bap, hack IF, and her gun’s bullet spread rarely misses Baptiste as long as you’re on target.
• D.Va can apply insane pressure to him, all while eating damage bursts and heal nades
• Winston makes a mockery of Baptiste, especially because Baptiste can not escape winston and the bubble plus winston equals nightmare split focus. Bubble blocks Baptiste healing so well
• Genji is a reliable counter, and Dragonblade kills lamp in two slashes.
• Ashe can outplay him and her kit works very well vs his,
• Mei can work pretty well if she closes the distance, but Baptiste works well against Mei at range so it’s a fair fight. You can also summon a wall into IF to reduce its effectiveness or negate its effects entirely based on the position.
• Soldier works extremely well vs Baptiste, and blue beam visor, Nano visor, or supercharged visor is a death sentence. Lamp does not last long enough to withstand visor.
• Hog has a pretty good time against him,
• Tracer can completely outplay Baptiste but is a glass cannon hero…
• Hanzo works very well against Baptiste by outranging him and storm arrows working well against the lamp,
• and Widowmaker works extremely well because his only outplay option vs her is immortality.
• If you need any more examples just duel a good Baptiste player and find out what works best for you.

Also stylosa made an (imo erroneous) claim that Baptiste is as powerful as s:76.

Baptiste is just the newest flavor of the month to hate on. Let’s stop the hate speech before Baptiste gets the hammer.

There’s also other things such as Orisa being able to pull people out of lamp radius, echo being available to force Baptiste to look up instead of at his team (making it harder for him to heal), hamster to knock people around, reduced team healing from fist pump, drastically reduced healing output for Baptiste, and other things that I haven’t thought of just yet.
