Overwatch is still 20th on the view count 90% of the time.

Everyone said big streamers would come back because 2-2-2 was going to fix competitive.

Where are they?

Feel kinda bad for dps streamers. That gig is gone and wonā€™t ever be the same for them.

Well, they could fix it.

  1. Start matching GMā€™s into lower tier games. Roughly 100-200SR lower than current games. (But try to make sure both teams have equally good DPS)
  2. Start awarding less SR to DPS in Diamond and above. Should thin out the ranks in Diamond and above. However they have smaller populationā€™s than Plat+Gold, and itā€™s only going to be a slice of Diamond DPS deranking fully into those skill tiers.
  3. Allow DPS players in high skill tiers to play Tank/Healer for # minutes (game+queue), and have that subtract # minutes from their DPS queue.

I donā€™t. If my path to work is blockedā€¦ I take another path. I donā€™t demand everyone clears for me alone, and I donā€™t quit over how one construction project altered my old path

Apparently nobody said that now. Now that we can see that 222 is not all Roses and Unicorns, now we only see 2 kinds of 222 supporters :

  • The ones that admit that they dont like it and it wasnt that good
  • The ones that deny they actually said it was going to fix the game and bring more players and admit they were wrong.

Meanwhile flex players:

I am a flex player and Iā€™m pretty good with it. I donā€™t like live balance but, I didnā€™t prior either. Iā€™m more happy with games than I was previously since now my hours being average arenā€™t such a hindrance

I just wanna see all the kids posting " Watch guys like TImTheTatMan" come back or " xQc".

They played it for one day and never came back.

For 3, Iā€™d love to see a variety queue option that lets you have a 1/3 chance to get any class

A bunch of them did for a while, but orisa/sigma sucks so hard it drove them away again.

The queue times are kinda bad for DPS streamers. And thatā€™s probably why you arenā€™t seeing it more. But some did come back, at least partially. Seagull has been streaming more Overwatch than he was a couple of months ago for example. XQC did some streaming. Apparently even TimTheTatMan did some Overwatch Streaming.

I donā€™t follow any of them enough to know if they stayed, but they did pop their heads back in for a bit at least.

Differentiate between reality and an a online platform made for entertainment purposes.

Also, there is a solution to this issue dps streamers are facing. If that does not work then ā€œfinding another hobbyā€ might be better. Change what caused the issue in the first place and if it does not work, ā€œtake another path.ā€

I am tho. If a show popped off , then the next season didnā€™tā€¦you can push on the way you are, or try to make changes.

If your first comedy stand up show worked but not second, you have choices.

They have choice. No one is hindering them from taking the mantel and playing tank and support and having fun and doing well.

But they want to dig in their heels. Thatā€™s their choiceā€¦quit your job is a valid choice. But Iā€™m not going to feel sorry about it

And here we see, a type 2, that will never admit they were wrong and underestimated the disadvantages and boosted the advantages. If you expect me to apologize for being right, you are going to have to take a seat mate.

Its ok, we all know that not all 222 supporters were ā€œliving in a dreamā€ but some f you were. Any instances or proof that 222 actually is not driving streamers away and some comeback? We would love to see anything in that regard.

222 is an improvement of the game quality even if not big.
