I’ve attempted to render replays ever since the launch of Overwatch 2, and every time my replay would render as a small box in the corner of a black screen. I’ve tried for the past couple years to get this fixed, and couldn’t get it resolved. I recently got on a call with a technical support agent, and we determined that the issue was my monitor having HDR enabled; after disabling HDR, I was able to render the replay properly. While this works as a temporary fix, it sounds like this is a significant bug that needs to be addressed.
Here are some other threads I found of people reporting the same issue:
When you have HDR enabled and try to save a highlight. Highlight will become a small portion of the size. If you swap back to regular saving highlight goes back to normal but any highlight you saved while in HDR mode will remain small. Repeatable

With HDR enabled, super sample x2 and x3 cause the output video to only occupy the top-left quarter. SS x1 still works fine.
Settings used: 4K, 60 FPS, max quality;
Other combinations of settings tried that do not affect results: hw encode on/off, video format mp4/webm.
Unable to include a screenshot / post a link here, so uploaded to imgur, 6LipiZ1
Edit: Also the output video is always in SDR, no matter HDR on/off. The color is a bit over-saturated with HDR on though.
so pretty much explained in the title, saved highlights play as a small clip in the corner of a larger black screen.
i’ve tried it with different highlights with different settings, even verified the game’s installation but to no avail.
it’s not an issue with my video player because even my editing program has the same thing happening. i’d post a picture but i don’t know how and i’m not sure if links are allowed or not.
When saving a highlight, it does not save as full screen video. Instead, the play is weirdly shrunk and placed to the top left of the video.
I’m playing on 3440x1440p Ultrawide resolution with HDR enabled. Highlight saved as 2K resolution, 60fps, MP4

Since Overwatch 2 came out, every time I’ve tried to render a replay, it’s come out as a tiny video in the corner of an otherwise black screen. I have messed with every setting, from resolution to quality to even video type, and I’ve had no luck. Can someone please help me figure out what’s wrong here?
Whenever I get a POTG in game, I typically click F9 to capture the POTG, or even some highlights I get when the game gives a person that frankly didn’t deserve POTG, POTG. As for my most recent POTGs, whenever I save the Replays so they go onto my system in my files (PC), it’ll either export it as a small square in the left corner, while the rest is blurred out, and can only see the top left half (about 25%) or if I choose 1080p it’ll export SUPER zoomed in, knocking off the outlines of the opp…
Most of the screen is black, and the highlight is shrunk and squished into the top left corner. I keep reporting it but it’s still not fixed and no one else ever replies. Has anyone else had this issue? I thought it might just be playing wrong inside the OW client, but when I went to the video in explorer and opened it in VLC it seems it was SAVED bugged too.
This is a new glitch in 2023, didn’t have this problem during launch. When I save a highlight in 4k, it pushes all the video into 1 corner of the file.

I tried saving several highlights today in 4K 60 FPS ultra x3 super sample and the result is the same for all of them it is only saving the highlight to 25% normal size at 4k Resolution and only appears to take up 1K of the 4K screen space in the left corner. Latest drivers hardware encoded on 4090/13900K.
