I’ve not been this disappointed since the last time Sym didn’t get a victory pose with her gun.

I really want them to retouch those skins. The grey version is my favorite skin if hers but the weapon looks a little fuzzy in first person.

I’m expecting a darker-themed skin for Mercy, just like Gargoyle Winston, Dragon Symmetra. For this skin, she looked like doing a cosplay.

Also, I feel bored of her blonde ponytail hairstyle, that’s one of the main reasons I don’t equip Wing Victory Mercy. (Combat Doctor FTW.)

Well, I wouldn’t consider the Atlantic skin cuter bubbly. But, to be fair, that is an OWL skin.

But, I wouldn’t consider the Dr Mercy one of those, or the two Valkyrie based ones to be “cute” or “bubbly” either.

I only really have two complaints.

  1. Someone on Twitter showed what a dragoon looks like in final fantasy, and I I think the mercy skin would have been much better with that color palette. If I remember correctly the image that they showed was red and purple.
  2. Her helmet curves a little too far around her face, toward her mouth. I think if they would have “cut it off” around the sides of her cheeks, and not have it wrap around, it would look better. My issue there is because there’s her mouth and the two sides of the helmet, all within a small little space, and it looks very compact and kind of takes away from her facial features, and a bad way, because nothing has really room to “breath” and occupy its own space, from an artistic standpoint.

Now, with that being said, I do like the general idea of it. There’s just a couple things I feel were a bit of a “miss”.

I don’t think the skin is bad but something feels odd about it… idk what it is.

I would’ve also liked it if they gave her something other than the ponytail - I hate that chunky cheese block :confused:

The skin is cool, the helmet isn’t…

My problem is that outside the helmet and color, it’s awfully generic looking and just looks like a recolor of 90% of her other skins. That, and it’s not exactly dark and rather oversexualized for the theme.

It’s not like Mercy is exactly dying for skins here, if you’re going to spend an event slot on her, then it should at least be high quality and unique.
