yes this desperately needs to be looked into and fixed if possible, overwatch 2 appears to be around the corner and there’s still so many bugs with this hero

Doomfist feels horrible against every other damage hero in the game.

There’s nothing quite like slamming towards Ashe, Hanzo or Widowmaker from their flank where they have yet to notice me, only for my efforts to be thwarted by a button press and a flick of the mouse. After they’ve created the equivalent of two Winston-jumps-distance between us, I get headshot for 160, 250, 300 (more with mercy damage boost or discord orb) and have effectively done nothing. Having a self-stun on uppercut doesn’t help with dooms lethality against this “2020 grand finals” lineup of snipers when it basically guarantees that I won’t even be able to execute my combo before they react and literally fly away.

Now that soldier has been buffed (good move imo), he seems to laser me before I can get close to him, or he plays outside my effective range (15 meters down from 20 with that patch from two rough years ago). Even if I close the distance and trap him in my uppercut, I’ve already taken a fat chunk chip from him, and at that point I may or may not be in range for his helix rocket to finish me off while I say hello to him as I’m wait for my uppercut self-stun to wear off so I can shoot him with my knuckle dusters.

Ironically, in the patch just before this, 200 health Mccree seemed the most inviting to dive. Given that I caught him between reloads or especially when he was without his flashbang, I could reliably punish him with slam uppercut, finish with a few shots and punch out. Fat 225 mccree with 1.2 second reload window instead of 1.6 will definitively put a dent in my cowboy hunt in ranked, but that isn’t even the worst of his matchups.

Imagine trying to kill genji as he jumps over your punch and sits on any elevated piece of ground as he pelts you with shurikens.

Imagine trying to kill tracer. I don’t have to describe that.

Reaper? No.

Mei? No.

Torb? No.

Pharah? No.

Echo? No.

Bastion? No.

Sombra? Purple fingers neuter me before I can finish my seismic slam anyways.

Junkrat? He might actually have a more reliable one shot combo than doomfist at point blank range.

Symmetra is the best matchup for doom bar none, but even with the extra 25 shields, unfortunately it’s still his best matchup, but now she dies to dooms slam uppercut significantly less often.

Doomfist has the worst matchups against the damage heroes out of the entire damage pool. Not a single player on a hero from the damage category should be upset playing against a doomfist. He is so laughably non-lethal to you and the counterplay around him is so simple to the point where seeing him in a spot where you think he may attempt to slam you is sufficient to countering him, because at that point you know you can either shoot him (widow, Ashe, soldier, hanzo etc.) dodge him with an instant-cast escape or immunity ability (widow, ashe, reaper, mei, tracer, hanzo, sombra) ignore him and understand that he can’t kill you (genji, echo, torb, bastion, pharah), or trade with him (junkrat lol, and mccree in weird circumstances).

This hero is horrible.

I feel like you put a parkour hero in the damage category by mistake.

People always say Doomfist is op and They didn’t even try the hero.
Doom is literally unplayable cuz blizzard is always focusing on hitscans and not the other heros.
More than 50 bugs on doomfist is insane
The ultimate don’t work, The (SLAM), The punch, The uppercut and I can’t even count them.
Hope this hero gets fixed soon so we can play it.

Also please keep jump punch, diag punch (like up Anubis wall) and the bounce off angled surfaces. Basically nothing that would interfere with doom parkour.

Blizzard?
Do you really think that doomfist how he is right now is a playable character ?
He got like 20+ counterheros and a Ton of freaking Bugs that make him litterly unplayable!
I really hope you see this and take a look in that Document so you can see why doomfist is rn the most ******* character in the game ._.

Pls fix this, the hero is already hard to be played against counters, now imagine being counterd by hero bugs also, that is just messed up .

Over all my accounts I have about 300 hours on the hero and it seems that every time I use an ability its a 1/3 chance to get a bug. This really needs to be fixed because i dont want to be flipping a coin just to see if i get a bug or not.

Really hope they will look into this. Technically many of doom techs like bounces, diags etc. are ”bugs” but those are very important part of doom gameplay overall and im pretty sure no doom player would want them to be removed. But everything on that list though is annoying and can be effective ingame making doomfist inconsistant and a bad hero. Those bugs should be fixed.

Im just gonna drop this here the only I kept playing OW because Doom was a fun hero with a high Skill ceiling. But honestly getting Bugs every game just ruines the fun. Imagine doing a rollout that you practicest for like 3 hours and you get it off but dont get the kill because your Slam just decided to not work properly. Or because the Ana bounces off a wall (which happens atleast 3 Times per Game) and you just die even tho you dont deserve it because you played properly. The game just kills you because of Stuff that shouldnt be there. Honestly fixing the Bugs would make Doom enjoyable again. I really Hope this post does something because Doom deserves some love

Please we need these fixes. It’s already so hard and inconsistent to play doom as it is.

Rocket Punch regularly slides enemy along the wall at random angles.

Uppercut is so inconsistent because it’s hard to predict where the enemy gets moved.

It’s really frustrating when slam gets caught on a short peg and enemy’s right in front of you don’t get affected. While Hammonds slam hits everything in a ridiculously forgiving volume

As a Doomfist main and support main, I understand when people say that Doom is irritating and annoying to fight, but I also understand exactly how much can go wrong when a Doom decides to do anything at all.

Before nerfing or buffing this hero in any way, just make him work. The amount of bugs is outrageous, especially when we go for months at a time without fixes to Doomfist but get hotfixes for cosmetic glitches. Its completely unfair for the player to not only have to outplay 6 people, but also 50+ bugs. No other hero has this many issues with them.

Everyone in here begging blizzard to fix doom. They won’t! Activision has the reigns and they are steering the overwatch wagon straight off a cliff.
Mark my words ow2 will not be much different. This company has proven they don’t give a flying duck about their games.
