youre not thinking logically , sombra has permanent invisibility, meaning always having the upper hand vs doom, a .6 second cast 6 second cc that makes any hero useless, especially bad for a doom genji or tracer, she can permanently recall to anywhere in the map, the counter play is having to hit a 180 flick shot
slow speed projectile hand cannon shot gun pellet on a max range sombra probably on high ground while youre in the middle of her team, or dont play the game and sit in the middle of your team. its not a skill based matchup and they need to find a better way.
youre literally having to fight a mfing ghost who can make you useless for 6 whole seconds every few seconds. it is not fun or exciting gameplay
That’s not how it usually goes. How it usually goes is that since Sombra can look at the map from any angle they always know where all the opponents are so that when the Doomfist makes a move on your supports (which they should do) you can hack him the instant you’re not the one being focused down. If he starts flying and slamming on your supports and you decloak at that moment you can get the hack off really easily after which he dies. The only way to cancel it after that is if he flick shots his M1 directly at where you’re running which is very unlikely

I seriously doubt what you’re claiming, Doomfist doesnt just stand on the ground in a straight line relative to Sombra and Slam to engage her faster than she can Hack, he Slams off high ground or over terrain often with Rocket Punch adding to the horizontal distance (effectively creating hangtime).
Something tells me this is a can’t play Doomfist or lab testing problem that doesn’t take the reality of actual engagements 6v6 into account.
Actually it does. You’ll know where DF is and could probably kill him before he can reach you. Also you can tell your team anf they’ll be ready to fight DF.
Can you explain how Tracer, Hanzo, McCree, Roadhog, Orisa, Junkrat, Widow, Torb, Mei, Sombra, Reaper, Ashe, Bastion, Moira, Mecry, Lucio, and Briggite have a hard time dealing with DF
Ana: Sleep dart, grenade, and can be protected by her team
Zen: being super protected by his team
S76: burst dmg, good positioning, can be protected by his team, can harrass or kill DF from long range, sprint can help him get out of a combo or dodge punch
Rein: can be protected by his team
Winston: can dive with teammates and they can distract DF, his leap can help get out of a combo or dodge rocket punch
Genji: can play smarter against DF, wall climb and double jump can make it easier to fight DF, can dash to get away from him. Or can jump on his head which will make it impossible for to DF to hit him with a ability.
i was playing ffa lobbies and this soldier knew perfectly the distance to outrun my slams and his movements were so good and weird it was so hard to just own him lol.
If you are permanently invisible, you don’t contribute to fighting the rest of the team, and the decloaking animations makes it even less likely you can get off a hack.
It doesn’t make heroes useless, they still have a gun.

And Doomfist’s gun is actually extremely downplayed. It’s much much stronger than people claim it to be. Baptiste’s gun feels like a nerf gun too, but it actually beats many dps hero for damage output.
And she is still not a counter.

He is designed to get picks 1v6, to do that he has to be so broken that nobody alone actually has the advantage.
You just said sombra isnt a counter… doomfists gun is literally only accurate when he is at long range and the shots dont matter or when the hero he is fighting is stuck for the split second(s) they are locked into his abilities , which he doesnt have when hacked. that is a gross argument for someone who is hacked ( they still have a gun) that person cannot do anything because a sombra pressed right click in a general direction
ill tell you what, go play doom into a sombra where you are hacked and tell me how easy it is to hit your measily bullets into a sombra a-d strafing , let me know

Doomfist is designed to get picks while massively outnumbered, Sombra is supposed to cripple heroes in hopes of her team following up on that.
It’s no wonder that there is a big difference between the winrate of these two heroes.
if dooms engages anyone else besides the sombra he gets hacked and dies. If doom engages sombra directly. If she knows how to translocater above him she lives or if she has translocater up already.
If you have a sombra and the other team has a doom. He’s forced to swap or he will feed.
If you judge how hard a hero counters something by 1v1s then bastion hard counters 4/5ths of the roster.

This post was because people thought that Sombra could hack doom on the way in.
It is NOT a “Sombra doesn’t counter doomfist WAY too much post”
It IS a swipe at peoples “Forums Sombra” - where she just holds right click, and Doom can’t slam her, which… there have been plenty of posts with people saying that.
That these heroes can easily avoid or ignore it effects.
There was times when i would get 400hp as DF and it would instantly go away because of DF big hitbox. And with 400hp Tracer, Reaper, or Hanzo, still kills me. Even a smart Lucio can end up being a threat for DF.
No u dont. I’ve killed DF all by myself as McCree by flashbang + FTH. Or as Hanzo with his storm arrows.

Alright show me how to beat a Lucio that is contanstly on the walls, I can’t reach him, booping me over here and over there, and shooting me. Since he is alone and you know that he doesn’t have a advantage. I can never beat a Lucio like that, but you know how. So show me
Use uppercut (it has linger hitbox now) to hit the Lucio. Work on your primary fire aim.
How can i hit a Lucio that’s on a wall and is completely out of uppercut range, and is jumping to different buildings while shooting at me.
All of your abilities are mobility. Why aren’t you using them to get within range?

You have many options. Punch dash, direct slam, punch bounce, uppercut, diag, etc.
Even using those tech its still impossible for me to reach Lucio. Lucio could be on a wall and there’s no platform for me to slam on to reach his height. Lucio is too high on the wall and a bounce or diag + uppercut wont send me high enough to reach him, or he can continue to climb on the wall and make it impossible for me to reach him. He can use speed boost to wall ride faster and mess up my plan.
