With the Sombra nerfs that are more than likely going to go through to live, if Mei and Reaper end up getting nerfed just because they’re popular picks in the OWL, Wrecking Ball is going to murder everyone. That is all.

It’s bound to happen, now let’s wait for popular streamers or OWL to complain about how “unfun” the hero is and blizz will nerf her…

People were fine with her before. (Well, if not fine there was little complaining beyond the joking.)
But now that she’s suddenly popular, people are screaming about her.
One person even said she was a “sleeper”.

Ball has other counters. Mei on the other hand can chain freeze most tanks almost infinitely.

Well, Mei is a tank counter after all.
This means tanks shouldn’t have it easy against Mei.
Unless they have teammates to who they can rely on or they don’t have mobility, are they easy prey for Mei, and other tank counters.
But if the devs are going to nerf Mei, then the removal of chain freezing wouldn’t be a bad idea, but to be honest, I don’t think Mei is need of nerfs, or at the very least not without some form of a compensation buff.
What is love? Lady don’t nerf Mei, don’t nerf Mei, no moooooore.

While I agree Ball needs a counter, what Mei can do to him is totally unreasonable.

She is a hard counter, but WB can be played with a Mei on the other team, it just requires a very acute awareness of where she is.
There’s hard counters and there’s “can refreeze him infinitely by herself with nothing he can do about it”
Wrecking Ball gets stopped with the slightest cc.
While Mei can chain freeze him, walls him off and devours his space hamster soul from prying eyes.
